Samsung Galaxy Y has only 1 disadvantage is that it is 256 k colors whereas there are other galaxy phones with higher colour ratio...

if its aircel or docomo u have to give ' Extra initialization command ' in phone and modem settings-> in control panel. ask that command to ur service provider

Guys, i have found how to set your mp3 song/music or anything you want.. all you need to do is download
GO sms from the android market and its free!!!! there's also a lot of themes in the market too that you can use for this new sms application and you can use this app as a replacement for the boring default threaded sms of gingerbread.... open your go sms application and you will see a box at the upper left corner click on it and tap settings->notification settings->default notification settings-> and under "Ringtone & vibration settings" select ringtone... from there you can select your mp3/music that is stored in your phone as your message alert tone... you can also customize the skin of your sms viewwer... if you want themes from your phone you can download Go launcher Ex from the market too and its free you can select hundreds of themes that u can use... By the way im now enjoying this phone :)
