Gps is not fast:( still needed for time:( even with high speed 3g network. Sometimes it lags in the menu. And battery is too bad. Only for 2 hour in 3g. Wow- i have flash du player:) really browser is rocks with flash files:)

superb phone... just love it... someone wrote here that it suppourt video calling??? which software do v need for that???

I am more... morehi,galaxy y is perfect. i have 2 units both working great. no bad issue/problem. i both it with a plan from phone company so it is locked phone but it is good also as every unit given to subscriber is check before release. do not buy from retailers as the quality is not check thoroughly unlike from phone companies, they are issued with different version.
battery life is good, 4 days with normal call and text a few minutes browsing via wi-fi.
close applications you don't need/use and battery will last longer every recharge intervals. all preinstalled apps are useful for everyday use..
to close apps correctly, use the back buttons when closing apps after use.. that is the proper way to use. same as with all smartphones. failure to follow correct use will really result to poor battery life..you will that instrucction on help menu button..
most people commenting on poor battery life are either new user or just dumb user..

its only plus point is android platform.otherwise all its specifications r very cheap. be it 256k colour, screen resolution,camera only 2mp ,no flash,no video call, no ram/rom etc.
