batt prob. it wont last one day. but its still a good phone. hard to type coz of the qwerty which is too small(or my thumb is too big) il get used of it :)

Galaxy Y can show SIM contacts.
To enable this, do the following steps
Go to "Address book"
select "Contacts" tab
Touch on "Options" touch button left to the home key below the screen to get .
Tap "More"
Tap "Display options"
scroll to "Select contacts to display"
Tap "SIM"
Check on "All contacts"
Tap "Done"
Now all the contacts from the SIM card will be displayed in address book.
You can also export all or selected contacts from SIM card, SD card to phone memory and viceversa.
To do this, do the following steps.
Go to "Address book"
Touch "Options" touch button.
Tap on "Import/Export"
Tap "Import from SIM card" (if you want to copy contacts from SIM to phone)
You can see "Save contact to" option
Tap "Phone"
Check the contacts you want to copy.(check "Select all" to copy all contacts)
Tap "Import"
Now the selected contacts will be copied to phone memory.

does it supports all android application.....which is better for gaming galaxy y or galaxy mini s5570....beacuase s5570 has a gpu...and galaxy y does not have any gpu...so plzz tell me it supports all the game like s5570??????

Ya this phone has incoming problem on some of the manufactured handsets. Samsung people told it a software problem,it occurs specially wen ur phone is in locked mode and ideal on standby mode for sometime. I bought this phone on 16th oct and now my phone is with samsung customer care since last 10 days. They say they are repairing it. I bought this phone from samsung smartstore at kolkata,India for 7400/- just on its launch. First person to bought this phone from that samsung store. A very wiered problem with the phone. Samsung authorised sales person also confirm this problem of not ringing on incoming call on their live handsets supplied for marketing. Let c wat the sevice centre do with my phone. Be careful when u buy new samsung galaxy y.
Other than this the phone is very much ok. But its useless if u cant reply to incoming calls to your number when sometimes its mostly needed.
If any other person here face this kind of wiered prob then kindly reply to post.

Galaxy-Y : Beyond the expectation.
Sajid : it has all the features but you need to explore.
My Recommendation : If u r looking for cheapest android then galaxy is the best option
