recently i bought this phone this phone is awsm it has very good resolution,touch response
it is very good phone as compared to GALAXY FIT
FIT's speed is verly slow than the Y Coz
Y has 832 Mhz Processor Belive me angry birds on FIT And Y is lots of diffrence whilw playing
just you have to comprmise with the 3.0'
Fit has 3.2' screen
the phone price is 6500/-.
i will give 9/10.

hi! i just got this phone but im facing some difficulties in using it . sometimes the screen rotate (landscape type of screen) but it does not return to its original screen viewing and i wonder why?> next is the phone book data, it does not save any contacts from sim. it only saves contact tru manual saving.

screen resolution is very very poor. u would not be able to read maps after zooming.nokia is giving 360x640 resolution in all 3.2" screens. in that sense it is no way near.video call is another drawback.otherwise its a good phone.

Hey guys, i got this handset from last month. But i'm facing such weird problem:( whenever after disconnection of every call it gets switched off!. . And sometimes if someone will call me, my phone is not ringing at all! Also no data in missed or recieved call list! . . My battery is full also no apps in background. . Plz help. . If there is a setting for this. .

i bought this phone for rs. 6400 in gurgaon. the phone is absolute joy easy to handle responsive touchscreen free access to android market. i dont play games so cannt tell abut it. multitasking multitouch
h swype input speech input are some good points. i think its worth buy .
cons are small screen low processor less pixel camera at night of no use.
music and call quality good. downloading fast coz of 3g

1.connect ur android mobile to pc after enabling usb debugging option
2.install android sdk
3.open cmd
4.type the following commands.........
adb shell pm setInstallLocation 2
now onward all the apps installed through pc will be installed directly to memorycard
so easy right?

@Saswat, It has Gingernread.. so yes.. you get the default apps2sd software which allows you to move your apps to your SD Card..

galaxy Y user, 12 Nov 2011its the lock screen you must slide itthere is no icon for slide after lock when i press home button only blank screen.even after sliding on screen only sound of unlock i can't view the home screen.screen is still leave blank.i restart the phone then it is working before it's get screen off.i have set the screen out time to 30 min.then it work 30 min without any hash.i have to do manual lock for screen off but after screen off again phone same blank screen.plz help

saswat , 11 Nov 2011Can we store apps n games in d memory card of samsung galax... moredont be confused this is the best phone in this price range,,,,,and with android ginger bread,taste good,,only cons for some. screen is small,,and for the battery just avoid excessive phone navigation you dint need to install juice defender, just disable app/feat you dont use,,,
