Hi specs mentioned in Gamarena.com (Stand-by Up to 850 h (2G) / Up to 540 h (3G) Talk time Up to 17 h (2G) / Up to 6 h 20 min (3G)) Is this true for a 1200mAh Battery? Where as sansung website states battery life to be Talk Time Upto 360 minutes and Stand-by Time Upto 120 hours. Which is true?

Cool and cheap Android Phone, Battery takes 3-4 hrs to charge and drains faster. Will samsung provide better battery option.
Samsung Kies does not work for me in both windows xp and windows xp, I used 3 different cables and even downloaded the latest Kies. The S/W does not recognise the phone. Even though the windows regonizes the new device there is no seperate driver file to install.
Any solution kindly reply thanks

hi guys this is a suggestion so if u dont mine yesterday I saw this galaxy y demo phone in universal I think display clarity is too bad for a smartphone so that time we checked other options my range is 10 to 11 max already told him universal guy suggest me lg optimus net p690 newly lunched
my brother liked so much then we purchase that and over all i can say lg p690 is better and better then galaxy ace by the way lgs display clarity is awesome lcd screen for 10k

pat, 06 Nov 2011me too i cant connect the wifi until now with this galaxy y... moreall you have to do is to turn on the wifi... it will scan available signal automatically. choose the signal you wish to connect with....

my vodafone sim not working properly with galaxy y
i am not getting call alert by ring when my phone is locked.once
phone is activated i m getting ring.
My airtel sim work properly.

Hello!
I just got this phone today and I am totally happy about it. If you are an android fan with a very low budget, I highly recommend this. I have used different smartphones with Android OS and I tell you the interface of this one is no different. Its like you're also using Samsung Galaxy S but with a smaller screen. This is the Android phone at a very low cost. :)

[deleted post]battery last for 2 days if you use all aplication. for me this galxy phone of samsung are really great, wifi conection is ok, you can customize the ringtone and alert tone just go to android market and download aplication like ringdroid and sound effects for free.

the mobile is awsum in this price range....but battery backup is not so good.

alaram not work when fone switchof
calender reminder ones beep only,
android exp is not bad
but if i campare this fone with nokia sis fone i'll give nokia sis fone 8/10 & samsung 5/10
totaly i'll mark it 3.5/10
So it is not good fone.......

you need to carry charger with you always if you want to use web apps.. battery drine fastly... works fine with mobiles apps and music player..
