i purchase this mobile after 1 year and i relize this phone is very bad phone he does not play every best game is not play and video qulity is poor the rate is high but qualities very low and i knw next time sometimes i have dn,t purchase samsung mobile

This is the worst phone ever! Display quality is very poor and the same goes to sound quality. The back cover is gloosy plastic which gets too many scrathches and fingerprints and same with the screen. This phone lags too much and HD games don't play. It heats up while charging and battery takes 3-4 hours to get full charge. Battery backup is very very poor. Google play hangs. Youtube videos play very slow and defualt browser is totally crap. I have never been able to take a good picture with this phone and it is because of the crappy camera! This is a very bad phone. Memory and RAM too low. Build quality is pathetic and feels so cheap. I bought this phone on october last year for 7000 and my money is wasted. I regret buying this phone too much. Please don't buy this phone you'll regret like hell. It's a waste phone!

I just want to ask Im using glaxy Y over a month now and never had any problem until the phone drop and then it start that everytime I charged the phone it gets really hot, and battery is dying quickly, would this be a sign of a phone damage?

i m using samsung galaxy Y since march 2013. it's gud phone bt it has some problm related to Internal memory...except it,every thing is fine...!!@

Using it since march 2013. Nice loks but the glossy back cover is fingerprint magnet. I've used s duos but the 5.7k galaxy y is more smooth. Display resolution and camera are the bad guy. My phone's display malfunctioned but the service centre repaired it wthin a few hours. Overall it is a go for starters.

i was reading the reviews of galaxy y , and came across your review .
if u have a problem with the internal memory of this device , then go to my files > sd card / inernal memory > android > select the whole app folder > move > extcard > and your phone memory will used will be less and apps will still function well .
i did this method on my phone also , i have a s duos .
or if u are not able to understand this procedure , then go to youtube , type " how to move apps to internal memory " and watch .

this phone is great for its price, been using it for a while.not too fond with its standard OS looks, so using custom rom and overclocked it to 1.2ghz.stable and jb looking. installed many apps using link2sd.no probs at all.

Im using this phone over an year now, this phone is only good for smartphone beginner users so that hey get used to working of andriod phones. The camera lens has given up..it has permanent dust, plus battery life and int memory v low, small screen and it is not for gaming freaks.

shetty, 03 Aug 2013what do i do? my phones locked as the pattern went wrong an... morego to recovery mode by pressing vol+ home key and power button at the same time(after switch off your phone) and do a wipe data and cache and reboot ur device thats it.

I'm using this phone since past 10 months and it never disappointed me. The screen quality is very good and sound is awesome very clear. I like Touchwiz UI- it offers many customization. The set is rough and tough. I have dropped it quite a few times but nothing has happened. Internet browsing is very fast and so is watch youtube videos. We can use other internet browsers such as Opera mobile and keyboard apps such as Swiftkey. There are many apps in the Play store. The phone is compact and easy to carry with. This is one of the most sold Samsung phones so it has a large devloper base and we get so many custom ROMs. It is awesome phone for the price. Im very happy with it. Go for it!
