Power save mode makes a huge difference. If you don't mind some changes in performance and sync. It sync most important apps for me and phone has still 40% after a day and 4 hours of use. Watching videos for about 2 hours straight. No huge drains, good standby. So I would recommend using this mode! And if you need the extra power and smoothness just turn it of when needed.

Biggest cons are the battery and the charging. But depends on your usage. Then also the constant fear the screen will randomly crack but it's not very likley even tho people seem to think so.

Got mine refurbished, for around 750 dollars. And it looked brand new with even the plastics around the phone still. Also 30 days test and return for free if not satisfied and 1 year warranty. So with that price and support I feel it was a good deal.

The best thing about this phone is the beautiful screen, the design and that it flip to a compact friend. I also find the cameras surprisingly excellent compared to iphone 12 I used before I can't really see much difference. Front camera is kinda trash but with this design you can just use your main camera taking selfies. The build quality is insanely good it feels like a tank and the hinge is strong and sturdy. I seen many reviews, people who treated it kinda bad and still it lives. So I don't think this will just break when you drop it. But I use a otterbox case becouse the phone is very slippery.

Would I recommend this phone? Yes absolutely, but only if you can get it cheaper in my opinion. And if your not a crazy power user then you need a power bank with you.

Also I welcome all new users to the screen #crackfear haha.

          Fast charging 15W
Why are most of the phones in the USA still using awful charging systems?!

Phones can get upwards of 100W now and fully charge in

The body is too slippery, not comfortable to use. Touchscreen keyboard is too small and also uncomfortable to use.

From when it came out I was thinking about having it but there were few things that hold me back:

              1. The Price - more than 1000€ for a phone seemed a pain in the ass to me
              2. Screen - ehm, wonderful, but how much "flips" could that thing handle?
              3. Battery - 3300mAh are not enough in 2021. It's a phone, not a smartwatch
              4. Dimensions - Ok, it's big opened and small folded but damn, it is not thick at all 😂 idk how pocket-able could this thing be.

              1. Well, paid it less ( 750€ ) and I will sell my actual phone 📱. It will cost me around €400 and it's a good price for an 888.
              2. Samsung premium warranty convinced me over the screen concerns.
              3. Battery is enough for me ( I don't use socials neither games, I take few pictures and surf the web ).
              4. In fact, this is the main reason that made me desiring this thing. These days phones are just too long for my pockets. This thing, even if it's a little brick, it's not that long and it will somehow stay inside the pocket at least.

This is my third Samsung, the other two were note 2 and galaxy alpha and from there I didn't find any other Samsung thst worth the price. Hope this will.

                      Needs:
1.A Headphone jack could be cool to listen to music with wired buds.

Otherwise it's useless to have a compact phone.I know it's not a big deal but a least Micro SDXC

Every electronic device has a set of life span, as long as the Flip3 can last 3+ years of everyday use wear - it a sacrifice I can make.

I've seen/use far too many phone with sacrifice being here and there. There simply just isn't a perfect phone. You're picking on a 'fashion phone' where aesthetic is it main selling point to be rational. It like buying a exotic car and ask to have a comfortable ride.

From a technical point of view it seems that such a touchscreen that deforms each time it folds/unfolds has a limited lifetime from all the stress on the cross section, I wonder how many times it is possible to unfold it without it breaking and is there a specification stated in the warranty.

sam, 11 Feb 2022so stupid, why not making dual simcard? lolBecause of aesthetics... It is a FLIP phone by design, and dual sim takes space. I would rather trader in something else for dual sim. Like stereo jack... As phone dual 'sim', it depends on your market, Flip3 at where I am can take both eSIM and SIM at the same time... and that how I roll - blame the carrier in your country if it doesn't!

Can you - non Flip/Fold user stop talking about how small and weak the battery is cuz thats not true.

I have the phone in front of me and i am doing a full day with medium use with 100% battery
In heavy usage days i get around 5 hours screen on time and i need a second charge in late day.

Usages are: Bluethooth 24/7 ON, 4G+ 24/7 ON (no wifi), vibrations on, sounds on, screen brightness at 50% to 80% and 120HZ.

I had phones with worse battery life's like iPhone 12 Mini or Xiaomi Mi9
