Bought the unit since launch date and until now, have no problems with it. I don't if I'm just lucky or there are really problems with the z flip 3. screen seems to be fine with my unit, no cracking along the fold and no dead pixel. the phone seems to be warm when I'm charging it and I have my silicone case on, but other cases that i use, normal temp. I agree with the battery though, battery life is not poor but mediocre, but what do you expect from a 3300mAh battery with a 120Hz screen refresh rate and 5G on. I can say from experience that this is unit is not for people who bases everything on specs, because until now, my unit is still in very good condition and is working properly

I own this phone since October 2020, using it all the time in different conditions (from -10c up to +40c) since I'm biking a lot trough the whole year... It's always in my back jersey pocket, taking pictures and flipping all the time. It even felt into water and nothing... Not a single issue so far! Even the battery is fine for me, lasts waaaay longer then my previous S21. The other thing is that the speakers and call quality (earpiece) also million times better then on S21. Overheating??? Whaaaat? Don't spam the people man. The only minus from my side is this crease that is pretty damn visible during the daylight. Actually it happens once that the glass vase fell directly on opened screen and cause few stuck pixels and guess what??? Samsung replaced the screen free of charge even it was my fault (of course I didn't tell them that) ;)

This phone is one of the worst I have had, couple that with the terrible aftersales from Samsung, it has put me off them for life. After 4 months of ownership, my phone developed two different screen issues (screen cracking along the fold, and the screen just dying and not turning on). Both of which the local Samsung Support Centre claimed to have never seen, despite multiple people being in the shop for the same issues. As a phone, it wasn't great either, calls constantly dropped. The phone ran quite warm under normal use and battery life was rather poor.

I'm renewing my postpaid contract end of this month. A few phones to choose from but I'm stuck between Vivo X70pro and Flip 3. Any suggestions which one should I get? I want a good camera handphone as I'm currently using Huawei p40 pro. Sadly I need a phone that runs by android. Pls help me with this dilemma

Happy, 29 Apr 2022While it is the size I like, the battery is a huge let down... moreWell I am currently experiencing the same problem I just got the phone 2 weeks ago. That happen when I play music on it constantly which is understandable. Phone company does not make phone with good battery no more because every year they come out with a new one and they have to sell it. Basically what you have to do with your phone to get the battery last a little bit is : do not have too many unused app on your phone or games, do not play too much music on it either, so in other words use your phone wisely and you should be good.

While it is the size I like, the battery is a huge let down. I heard it was a problem, but at 100% a 3 minute phone call reduced it to 93%, with very few apps running in background. Second and definitely the bigger problem for me, is all the garbage I have to sift threw to get to what I want. Automatic downloads, unasked for music videos, lots of apps I'm way too busy to play with and the difficulty to just listen to my 9,000 songs I downloaded without trying to badger me with downloading lots of stuff.
Also annoying, since I purchased this Google based Android phone is how, with me removing all permissions, changed my PC without permission to favor Google, which I never use for a search engine.

Urgently need help with this. If i buy a samsung Z series or S series phone will the galaxy store automatically download apps based on marketing choices like Snapchat, MX player etc.

I am currently using a samsung A52 and the galaxy store app automatically downloads.

                    - work in the office is dead, so permanent charging takes place
                    - battery set to 85% limit and has still great performance, thou suffers on 3G
                    - phone is the thinnest, and one of the lightest
                    - no need for case, staying sexy all of the time
                    - super protected display that doesn't scratch
                    - a person can finally bend to fix shoelaces, no pedophile brick in the pocket
                    - physical fingerprint is still the best solution
                    - flipping is addictive on 1st day or after 1year, same happy feeling

Almost wish i got this instead of the fold tbh. It just has that wow factor that nothing else can replicate. I'm not fussed on battery, i have a power bank. Don't mind microsd missing cus if i want a backup ill put it on my pc seeing as microsd can only store files and that's not a hard thing to move to pc, cameras are still solid regardless of what people say, they do the trick, 8GB ram doesn't bother me because there's RAM+ to bump it to effectively 12GB.
There's just always such a cool feeling holding this to the point i hope everyone here could experience it. Truly a marvel of engineering nobody can deny that.
Its also not even aimed as a flagship, its a fashion piece. Yes it performs decently regardless of thermals and battery capacity, but its blatantly advertised as the cool person phone, and when you have one in your hand, you definitely feel cool!

Seriously samsung.when will battery in zflip3 will last longer.i just wasted my money on zflip3 .Dawn it

Flip 3 remains my favorite device that I've ever owned. I turned it into my GOAT gadget. It's already my Steam Deck. I'm aware battery life and cameras could be better but it doesn't really bother me at all. Power save does make a difference especially for standby.

                              AetherSX2: PlayStation 2
                              Dolphin MMJR2: GameCube
Lemuroid: PSP, SNES, Genesis, NES, GB
                              Mame4Droid: Arcade
                              Redream: Dreamcast
                              RetroArch: PS1, N64, GG

What's great is I prefer Flex mode when playing games and many especially the arcade ones and console games before 2006 had that 4:3 aspect ratio. Many of my favorite shows have that as well. It's perfect for that ratio in Flex. I can't see myself getting the Fold because it's too heavy and Flex on that is a thin candy bar shape.

Power save mode makes a huge difference. If you don't mind some changes in performance and sync. It sync most important apps for me and phone has still 40% after a day and 4 hours of use. Watching videos for about 2 hours straight. No huge drains, good standby. So I would recommend using this mode! And if you need the extra power and smoothness just turn it of when needed.

Biggest cons are the battery and the charging. But depends on your usage. Then also the constant fear the screen will randomly crack but it's not very likley even tho people seem to think so.

Got mine refurbished, for around 750 dollars. And it looked brand new with even the plastics around the phone still. Also 30 days test and return for free if not satisfied and 1 year warranty. So with that price and support I feel it was a good deal.

The best thing about this phone is the beautiful screen, the design and that it flip to a compact friend. I also find the cameras surprisingly excellent compared to iphone 12 I used before I can't really see much difference. Front camera is kinda trash but with this design you can just use your main camera taking selfies. The build quality is insanely good it feels like a tank and the hinge is strong and sturdy. I seen many reviews, people who treated it kinda bad and still it lives. So I don't think this will just break when you drop it. But I use a otterbox case becouse the phone is very slippery.

Would I recommend this phone? Yes absolutely, but only if you can get it cheaper in my opinion. And if your not a crazy power user then you need a power bank with you.

Also I welcome all new users to the screen #crackfear haha.

                                        Fast charging 15W
