if they weren't repairable they wouldn't make the phone, either you are not familliar with repairing them or you haven't seen a flip phone yet

I just got this unit as a gift last January. Today I noticed that whenever I fold it, it powers off. I never changed any settings so maybe it's a hardware issue? Can anyone please help on how to fix this?
