Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 to adopt a folder-shaped external screen
We’ve seen plenty of rumors about the Galaxy Z Flip5 so far but now we have our first look at the clamshell foldable’s new cover screen. Noted tipster Ice Universe shared a new image of the Galaxy Z Flip5 showing out its design and our first look at its folder-shaped cover screen.
Past rumors suggest the Z Flip5’s cover screen will measure around 3.3-3.4-inches which is a notable step up from the Z Flip4’s 1.9-inch panel. Notice the weird folder-shaped cutout at the bottom which goes around the dual cameras. The tipster claims these images are indicative of the final design and that Samsung is currently working on adapting its software to take advantage of the larger screen area.
Based on the most recent report, Samsung is ready to announce its Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 in late July alongside the Galaxy Tab S9 series.
