Samsung Galaxy Z Flip stock quickly depleting in the US
Interest for Samsung’s second foldable phone - the Galaxy Z Flip is unsurprisingly high. So much so that both the unlocked and AT&T versions of the device managed to sell out as soon as it was available online.
Potential customers are now left with a choice between the Sprint units or having to wait until the next batch arrives. And if the demand stays this high only one of those options will be available come tomorrow.
According to South Korean media, Samsung is expecting a ten-fold increase in sales for the Z Flip during its first week compared to the same period for the Galaxy Fold. Just yesterday Samsung held a limited 900 unit sale of the Z Flip in its home market and all units were gone in a matter of hours.
It appears that at least initially Samsung will be able to sell its flexible display smartphone as quickly as it's able to make it. Will the company be able to produce enough units to actually turn it into something more than a super niche device remains to be seen.

Probably because it's low inventory to begin with. Samsung's focus is the S20 family, so I doubt they actually had many of the Galaxy Z in production/stock. And I also wonder how many of those units go to youtubers instead of actual user.
