Not a huge upgrade over the Fold4, but at least it has a 12 MP telephoto, instead of the older 10 MP.

Why does this phone still have 4400mah battery? should have been like 5000mAh at least at this point. Really disappointing really, maybe next year.

YourMom69420, 25 Jul 2023While that may be true, it's not like you're usin... moreyup if our phone is dead or something, sdcard still able to survive and saved our large files...cloud storage helps but we cant possibly synchonize to store large gbs of files daily also drains battery alot..just place apps and games in the internal while videos, images in sd it really good combo

justasmile, 25 Jul 2023Main storage is faster than MicroSD though.While that may be true, it's not like you're using the MicroSD card for running apps. Think of it like having a bulk files HDD in a computer that runs of a NVMe SSD. You don't need that storage for applications, so you only need something that's fast enough for videos, pictures, and game save data.

Having expansion slots in your device increases its lifetime by a long while, and that's why I daily drive a galaxy S10 even though it doesn't have the newest features. 512GB SD card = 25$, 128GB storage to 512GB adds more than 200$ to most phone's prices nowadays.

But for pocket smartphone it's dead. I was one of the guy who shouted every time on a new phone launched without 3.5 jacks, but it's just energy wasting now. They won't never bring it back. I even openly criticise wireless buds for bad audio quality, specially Apple's toy but they are the trend now.
And about no one compare physical storage to cloud one. Rather I talk about onboard storage. Which is light years more reliable and fast. Just get a bigger version of it. Could storage is irrelevant. Or save it on pc drives. Mirco sd are bad as hell. Even though I still using phone with sd card slot, I stopped using it for long time now. We can recover data from sd cards or hdd. But when micro sd dies it dies.
