Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5, Z Flip5, Tab S9 and Watch6 series announcement coverage wrap-up
Samsung completely redesigned the hinge on its 2023 foldables and the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 are all the better for it. The flip even got a much larger, much more usable cover display (and apparently, it can run any app, but there is a catch).
Samsung also introduced a new generation of its Tab S slates, which upgrade to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset (as did the Z foldables). Also, they now have IP68 dust and water resistance, you can take them to the pool without worries.
And there are new smartwatches too – the rotating bezel is back! There is no Pro model this year, but the Galaxy Watch6 Classic is larger (if you get the 47mm version) and has a sharper display.
We were at the Galaxy Unpacked event and spent some time with all the new devices, so check out our hands-on review for more details.
