iNexus, 21 Nov 2012i have nexus 10 and ipad 4 and i tested and found that ipad... moreummm on nexus 10 u can pretty much play any format of music, where as on ipad 4 its very limited... so music is alot better on nexus 10.
Im not too sure which is faster on browsing the internet.
Build quality doesnt matter too much, when most people plan to put a protective cover anyway.

i have nexus 10 and ipad 4 and i tested and found that ipad is better than nexus first thing the build quality of ipad is far better than nexus (aluminum vs plastic)
and the ipad is faster in browsing and apps also GPU is greater than nexus , ipad has a lots of tablet designed apps than android , but the resolution of nexus is incredible but the ipad has deeper colors than nexus,
and i will say:
if u want to watch videos go to nexus 10
or want browsing or gaming or listening to music go to ipad4
both are the best tablets in the market.

Having used the Nexus 10 I will make one comment on the Android OS.
Samsung cops a lot of flack for what they do to the Android OS. I agree there is a lot of cra-p apps they put in that would be nice to delete. However there is a lot of additional functionality and settings.
Personally, having now tried both, I prefer the samsung android compared to the google android even with the "bloatware" they install.

Looks like Android hasn't learned a thing, about improving their products. The ios1 to ios6 has vastly improved in every way shape possible. I was also pressured by people to buy this.
Android fans were pressuring me to buy this.
Apple fans used the "try it for yourself"
Sorry, but going to get an ipad. Android just keeps failing. It also seems like you android fans will support the android tablet no matter what because it's the anti apple. Just the vibe I get around android fans. Even if its terrible some of you will hype it like its really really good.

not an apple or android fan, but IMHO this tablet is better than the ipad. Apple launched the ipad 4 with retina display and a faster processor as its biggest plus, everything else is just like the first ipad. On the other hand android launched this tablet with a better display and a very fast processor aswell, and for a more reasonable price. Jellybean vs ios will always be a huge debate among apple and android fans, truth is both os are great. Had my hands on this tablet and it just feels great, much better than the ipad. When watching videos the nexus 10 displays better widescreen, whereas the ipad doesnt because of its shape. You get black stripes at the top and bottom of the video on the ipad, this is due to ipad's square-like shape. You have better wifi reception on nexus since it has a plastic back, unlike aluminum back on ipad. The only thing I dont like on this tablet is that it doesnt have a wifi+cellular version, that is why I am switching to nexus 7 wifi+cellular.

Its a sad day..
I have had put my 32gb nexus 10 up for sale on ebay.
Its an awesome device and probably the best 10 inch tablet available but.... I just find my tab 7.7 a lot more portable and better for what i want.
I have always felt that a 10 tablet wasnt for me but had to make sure...

Here are my initial thoughts having used my nexus 10 for nearly 2 hours.
- Build quality feels great, no creaks and looks really nice (IMHO a lot better than the iPad)
- The speakers are really good and add a lot of feel too movies and games.
- Having migrated from a Tab 7.7 so it feels a bit heavy and cumbersome. Not a fault of the device just something to get used too.
- The screen looks awesome, really sharp, white whites and black blacks.
- I am not totally struck on the google launcher. I might end up heading back to Go Launcher, I think its use of folders, transitions etc is better.
- There seem to be a few options missing in the OS, like adjusting the vibration intensity of key strokes.
- Battery charge time seems slow and it is chewing battery life but that said I am downloading a heap of apps so I might be being unfair.
- The charge cable is a lot longer than my Note 2… Samsung has learned from that mistake :-)
Will I keep it or sell and stay with the tab 7.7? I’m not sure yet… I am yet to be convinced that the 10” tablet market is for me. I brought it primarily for web browsing and movies so time will tell.
