Hi everyone, I want share my experience about this phone. Me N81 user before & sold this phone to buy the rival i450 coz several reason.
Samsung i450 has a good casing, solid build quality & excelent dual sliding mechanism. Also ergonomic navigation & keypad.
Nokia N81 I used before has fingerprint magnet, look dirty everytime also bulky in design. The N81 navigation & keypad also hard to use. Not ergonomic & has slow videocall.

- I can installed Asphalt 4 HD, Assassin Creed HD, etc in Samsung i450 without problem. Same as NGage right? In fact, Samsung i8510 INNOV8 are the best game phone in World Cyber Game 2008 New York. Where's the Nokia NGage?
- Also I can installed Adobe Flashlite 3.0 in Samsung i450 for free.

And Bang & Olufsen that used by Samsung i450 are premium brand in high end audio quality (maybe better than Sony or Yamaha). It's reason why Sony Ericsson Walkman & Samsung music edition are better than Nokia XpressMusic or NSeries in audio quality.

N81 also has FlashLite3.0 so it can play Full PC YouTube and other Full PC Flash8 web sites with the built-in Web browser, like i said N81 is a lot more up to date than i450. i450 only has FlashLite2.0 NOT EVEN 2.1

Yes there are some 3D games that run nicely on N81 that lag or dont run at all on a i450. Eg: Brothers In Arms, Karmagedon, and CBNC dont run at all on i450 but N81 runs them with no problem. Asphalt4 3D, Assassin's Creed and KODE are games that lag on i450 but the N81 runs them with no problem as well, so YES a couple of mhz do matter.
The Toshiba DAC33 in N81 is not cheap. Because of this chip the N81 and N91 have the best sound on the market. The N81 is a much better allround package, with more RAM for more multitasking and for running very heavy applications and games, the N81 with the new V20 FW now has On Demand-Paging, Menu Transitions, and Animations from os9.3 so the N81 is also more up to date and stable than i450. The N81 is much better than this samsung.

So i understood from u guys that i450 doesn't have a GPU unlike n81 so what??? Won't it run what??? themes,application?? what kind of programs on mobile that need 3D graphic acceleration to run???

And about the mhz, is there much difference between 369 MHz and 330 MHz?? What? a couple of Mhz does make that much difference???

Anyone who want to buy a mobile want it for music & this i450 is excellent in music. Then about games there are thousands of games that it can run. But what? Won't it so smooth like n95 and n81? Never mind.

This phone i450 is the best!!

Samsung i450 has better in audio quality because Bang & Olufsen ICEPower Amplifier more better than only cheaper Toshiba DAC33 used by Nokia N81.

Smape and mobile-review said that Samsung i450 has better in sound because TI OMAP 2430 include audio chip. Nokia N81 Freescale has no audio chip. In test also Nokia N81 has bad stereo crosstalk. I think Nokia N81 are closed to mono, and Samsung i450 are closed to surround because has good stereo crosstalk.

The Freescale CPU in N81 can run at up to 500mhz but NOKIA limited it to 369mhz. The i450 is indeed using the TI OMAP2431 which has NO GPU, SAMSUNG limited it to 330mhz. The i550/W , i560, and G810 have the TI OMAP2430 with a GPU used in the camera!! Read the SMape Review, and Mobile-Review reviews of these phones, and check PDANet it has EVERY smartphone's technical details.

i read all features of this handset
i think my Nokia 6120 Classic is Still better.
Because Of Just Normal Speaker i am not gonna buy for this normal feature..
anyhow thanks all.. who help me out to let me know the hidden features of this handset.

You know what when i saw this handset i thought this is better then N-95 in sound.
lol but i was wrong. N-95(8GB) is so expensive. so it has good quality as well.. So Inshallah i will go for that..

If Samsung i450 used that CPU, I think more powerful in speed than Nokia N81 with cheaper CPU FreeScale 369MHz. Some asian site review write that Samsung i550W used CPU TI OMAP 2431 450MHz. It's why in JBenchmark test, Samsung i550W more faster than Nokia N82 which use TI OMAP 2420 330MHz.
TI OMAP 2420 better in graphic acceleration, and TI OMAP 2430 better in audio acceleration.
Yes, u right that TI OMAP 2430 also lack 3D graphic chip and change it with audio chip. It's reason why Samsung i450 has better in audio quality. Also dedicated chip audio amplifier from Bang & Olufsen make it more better.

The i450 has the TI OMAP2431 chip which is missing 3D graphics chip as well. G810, i550/W , and i560 use the TI OMAP2430 with GPU.

FreeScale are more cheaper because lack of 3D graphic acceleration. It's why Nokia N95, N95 8Gb & N82 using CPU TI OMAP 2420 330MHz. CPU TI OMAP 2430 which use by Samsung i450 have good quality in audio term. Now, Nokia always use FreeScale for E Series because bussiness are more important than multimedia in Nokia E Series.
- Samsung i450 have 64MB RAM, and Nokia N81 96MB RAM. It's mean N81 can handle more running application in the same time.
- Samsung i450 uses Bang & Olufsen ICEPower Amplifier for audio chip, and Nokia uses TOSHIBA DAC33 for audio chip. If u want only louder and more bass go with Nokia N81. But if u have golden ear like professional, I think Samsung i450 is for u. Compare with the same headset like Seinheisser or Bosse.
