I've been using this phone for about 2 weeks now and would like to give it an 8.5/10, and that's definitely not bad!
If anyone has any questions regarding the phone, i'd be glad to be of help.
However, one issue that I'm facing is the USB connectivity. Whenever I connect via the USB, my PC[Win XP Pro w/SP2] identifies the phone as a USB defies but is unable to go any further. It classifies the device as an 'Unknown Device' in the 'Device Manager'.
I tried it on another PC and it is working just fine so its definitely not an issue with the phone.
It would really help if anybody could give some pointers on what seems to be a USB issue to me.

Is this Phone has Good Speaker then Nokia N73 and Nokia N75 ?
Is Bass comes from this Handset Speaker ? or Just Terrible comes out ?

So which is the 1st mobile in term of sound quality??
And the i450 and n81 has the same OS version So How i450 cant run some applications that n81 can??
And does i450 supports Nokia Bluetooth Stereo Headset BH-503?? or does it need some kind of program or what???

i am really feeling craze by seeing this phone, i have Nokia 6120 classic
and i supposed to get this samsung 450 phone today
but 1 thing is confusing me
please tell me the Speaker Sound of this Phone
is Speakers are greater then Nokia N73 and N95 ?
and Is this Phone's Speed Good or OK ?

Naveen Singh, 01 Aug 2008Your ears must have some problem or you might have not test... moreIve tested both, the N81 is FAR ahead of the N73 in music quality, are you aware of the fact that the N81 uses the same TOSHIBA DAC33 sound enhancement chip as the N91 but with improved noise reduction hardware, and yes the EU Volume restriction. The N81's music quality is a lot richer, amazingly crystal clear, more bassy, and has fantastic stereo seperation than N73. The N73 is just loud and average in my opinion.

All the N81 has is Ngage? Excuse me but the N81 is far better than your cheap i450. The N81 has Wi-Fi, 3D dual stereo loudspeakers, 16million colour display, faster CPU (N81 is 369mhz. i450 is 330mhz), more RAM for multitasking, and supports more S60 applications, the i450 can't launch some of them, the i450 is a simple phone when compared to a N81 and N95. The N95 is a giant leap ahead of i450 dont even try comparing.

Hi i am planning to buy a phone but i am bit confused and i always prefer to take a phone with camera and flash. and i am used to only nokia and Sony Ericson phones and don't know much about samsung i450. can you please tell about this phone. can we install smartmovie nd such stuff plssss mail me @ranjithrocks2008@yahoo.co.in........ wht abt d battery back up facility..

you're all wrong!
samsung i450 has the best sound clarity, loudness and reduced noise.
especially when in headset mode,
the bang and olufsen amplifier does it all hear like an ipod.!
i have one, and compare it to other phones, like n81 my teacher have one, it is like a simple phone, the only difference is, it is equipped with n-gage games. and take note: also in n95! the n95 is so big, and the only good thing on it is, it has 5mp camera...
the n81 still like a trembling speaker that is like pushing itself to the max...
and for the samsung i450
yeah i mean it, the camera lost it's focus on taking photos, but when it comes to video recording, i'm surprised, when i watched a recorded video, the video was amazingly clear! like a digital camera!
when you need proof...
just ask and ill take video and upload it to youtube.
no regrets when i bought it...
and one more thing,
the phone is so unique!

N81 has EU Volume ristriction so lodness control dosent do much hence lack fidelity as compared to N73 which doesn't have any such ristriction. Of course Clearty wise (Noise figures) of N81 is better then N73 and that of i450 too otherwise N73 could have been as good as N91 but that is not the case. N73 is still second best for a most of users unless one want to compromise for Bass, fedility and loudness at the cost of better noise figures of N81.
