a good phone with nice features.had problems though with poor battery life and restarts,took it to a service center(foneexpress kenya) buts been about a month and no sight of my phone.the reply is always'we are working on it and will get back to you'.i think this my first and last samsung phone.

Hello, I've tried several call recording apps - Total Recall, Ultimate Voice Recorder etc. - but none worked: They just create 0kb files! Any ideas ? Thanks

Hi all,
I have a question:
Does the colour of the trackball indicate/change when I have received a missed call/text message?
Or does something else indicate me that I have a missed call/text message without 'activating' the cell phone by touching the trackball/keypads?

check whether the phone you bought is with "w" at the end. if without, NO wifi. if with, it HAS wifi. very clear in THIS website

I update my i550w but when i restarted it, it just keep non flashing only. What is the solution for this?

Ryo Jin, 03 Nov 2008Good quality sound through headphone, not the loudspeaker.I am referring to headset only. I know the quality is good, but it is not very loud. If u have heard the sound loudness on N81 through headsets, you will come to know what i mean. Why is the sound level so low? or is it just my phone.

I Asked the re-mapping thing from samsung support and they said it's not suppose to be re-mappable. Really funny indeed... I would flash my phone to newer fm, but I cannot find my region.

Maybe you should upgrade the firmware
Do you have GPS+ icon in instalation folder ?

Can anyone tell me if the firmware upgrate fixes the problem with the restarting of the phone?
