It seems that I have to come into conclusion that this is the "destiny" of i550w, poor battery life. Instead of thinking to upgrade the firmware, I am thinking to buy another spare battery to solve this problem. But, if finally, you find another solution, please share with us.

Even if I have the latest firmware(JPHH2~22/8/2008) I am still suffering 4m short battery life wich is just about 15 hours with normal usage.I got this firmware 4m samsung service center(syria) it supports English,Arabic,Farsi,french and Urdo.any solution for the battery problim

I upgraded my firmware to i550PMHE3, 2008-05-09 2 months ago and it solved the battery consumption problem. It gave me 2 days for my normal usage. But, in the last 2 weeks the, under the same usage, the battery consumption is getting worse, it survives only for 20 hours. Do you have any advise on this problem?

Guys i m having a problem with Real Football 2009. Whenever i open the game, the speed of the game is very low. My current firmware is i550PMHE3 but in the previous firmware (i550JPGL3) the game worked without any problem.....
Is there any fault in Firmware....??? Please reply as soon as possible

The phone is great, I like it a lot... GPS works fine, but I have a problem with battery.. The phone is 2 months old, and battery lasts only for about 20h, even with minimal usage. what can be the problem ???

Jonathan, 26 Nov 2008For GPS, update the firmware to speed up initial lock proc... morethis phone has a major problem in wifi....it can access open network or wep but not wpa/wp2..... even though you do everything correctly...maybe a bug or some thing... this has happend even after latest firmware upgrade....its an issue and that is why it has been withdrawn from the qatar market here....the sales staff here say that it was a limited edition model i have not seen this model in anybody's hand here. it has completely vanished from the market.it has made one suspicious.....i think it is bieng re-launched or reborn as shg -i7110. please correct me if i am wrong about this .....or if some one has a detailed solution for the above problem,,,please post here...i mean a real expert one...not what is given in the manual or posted elsewhere which i have tried and failed.....so lets hear from the expert....thankx

did u buy the i550w in panda? the promotional item in there brochure..someone told me it's made in china.. i bought mine under the warranty of axiom and it cost around 800 riyals.. overall performance is good ,i didn't find any problem with the wifi and other things on it.

Go to Settings>Connection>Access Point>Options>New Access Point> (Define new Access Point at least there are 3 or 4 Access Point)
THEN
Go to Web>Option>Settings>General>Access Point>User Defined>
