atif, 09 Dec 2008Totally Vanished( i550) from Qatar...the Main dealer sales ... moreOk u feel that i550 is not good then go for i8510 which is "out of stock" in some shopping centre in Oman. The dealer said that i8510 was the fastest sold samsung mobile. Or go for i7110 which will be releasing in January in the GCC. Cheers Samsung Mobile

I am interested in your comment. I realized that previously my battery life is about 2 days, but after I installed garmin mobile xt, it became 20 hours only. Do you mean that eventhough I don't activate the GPS,it still consume the battery? What exactly do you mean by disabling the gps?

I found out that if I disable the integrated gps, battery life increases dramatically. Earlier I was struggling also with poor battery life, but if I don't need gps, I don't check it in the settings. Worth to try.

Osama, 09 Dec 2008In the Middle East or GCC I have visited Dubai and Oman....... moreTotally Vanished( i550) from Qatar...the Main dealer sales staff tells you that it was a limited edition model ???? what does it mean..?? so good a model that only few can have the privlage to own it. ?? is it good business sense...i dont think so.the real story is diffrent. Read reviews from other sites and you will know it..It has died a natural death. i really liked this phone but an now disappointed. Though it has it pluses....i have the latest firmware also....

... moreIn the Middle East or GCC I have visited Dubai and Oman.... the phone is available in both countries.... at a price tag of 100 Omani Rial (Rs 11000-12000) and its running successfully in GCC
Please update ur firmware. The new firmware is Stable and the only drawback is Battery life which is not a big concern for me

battery life = nokia E66 the most suck handphone!
I think the manufactur pay big sum to gsmarena to push the HP as how gud the HP, and even now too many user complaine of the problem, gsmarena still not change thier fake story review :

Before installing i suggest to go Settings- Applications- App. Manager and to close cert. controle.

Guys the trackball to the left side does nt work properly any more.I mean I need to move it 3 or 4 times so it moves once.I really started hating this phone.I was wrong when I bought it.Nokia stays the best

Yes we should dump this phone as soon as possible why ???
1) Camera is so so....Focusing takes ages....
2) Batery dies very fast....
3) Phone hangs up quite often...ie restarts.
4) Nokia's Symbian software is better...this has bugs..
5) WiFi Connectivity problems
6) Completely withdrawn from Middle East Market and unavailable.
Anyway buy and come to your conclusion...but i am telling 100% truth.
Better to wait for SGH-i7110 whic is coming soon..It has solved some of this dificiency....

everybody, i also i of the ppl cheated by the preview of how gud and all in one of the phone..
bought it then i found 2 fatal weak point of the hp and only 2 weeks i sold it..
1. batterylife 1-2 days(even not make any single call and sms)
-try listen to music then after 3 hours battery die,
-make sum call and sms, battery die less than 1 day.
@@make sure u bring along charger and 1 more backup battery with this HP...then tis smartphone will act smart to u....
2. as claimed the music player very nice but my opinion is, just any of the sony HP soundquality nicer then tis, and the most sucks is : NO EQUALIZER on this Hp...
