The phone is fine. It works great and its not laggy (some apps make it laggy sometimes). The only thing that I don't like is the battery life but its acceptable since its an android phone.

Santhosh, 27 Nov 2010I purchased Samsung galaxy 5 about 15 days ago.. when the b... moreno am not facing any problem.sometimes it tells force close dat also wen i open too many apps.

I purchased Samsung galaxy 5 about 15 days ago.. when the battery is little less than half,most of the applications don't work and i am forced to quit.Also the phone doesn't ring (only vibrates) inspite of keeping it in a non-silent mode.Anyone facing this problem?? Should i replace it?? Please let me know.

till now i used around 6 phones like Nokia 6233 and n73, Sony w350 and w200, Samsung corby, now awesome Samsung galaxy 5.among all Samsung galaxy 5 is best for me according to price and features.Samsung rocks.for such a low price they gave everything.i really bow u Samsung.guys this is really superb phone.everything is working superbly.if froyo comes means.it rocks further.

Kenny, 27 Nov 2010Samsung has not announce anything, nobody can surei feel there is no other option for samsung than giving it froyo, since lot of companies will be hitting the market with froyo as default os and that too at a cheaper rate . ex: ideos u8150
in india, which will be priced under 6k !
