Hey,
Will everyone asking for Froyo just keep quiet?
U will get if dey release it for Galaxy 5. Thats it. Nobody now knows actually whether it will get or not. So its better to keep quiet and keep on dreaming....................................... No offense to anybody. Peace!!

Hi guys,
Some bad news for all galaxy 5 users..I had sent an email to samsung enquiring about froyo upgrade..It is not upgradable to android 2.2
Its a great phone..but froyo is a completely different experience alltogather..If you're looking for a hardcore android experience, I'd advise you to go for a phone that can be upgraded..

My galaxy 5 somtimes restarts automatically and of late became little slower. I am noticing these problems after i have downloaded several apps from andriod market and getjar. Is this because of memory problem? how can i identify apps that slow down the device? is there a app on the market? Please help me..

The "Blue" color background unable change manually, you need to install 3rd party launcher like ADW, Launcher Pro to use the theme

Can somebody help me on this? When you set the alarm clock and turns the phone off, it will not alarm. Is this is the same thing as the other users? Also, can we change the menu background(blue) to other color like black? Thanks!

it's a great phone overall.
I modify and make a lot better UI on it :)
use launcherpro and beautiful widget to make it perfect.
now I'm waiting froyo on my phone.
oh, I have a question.
which one is better, wait fot froyo or use cyanogenmod ?

Grt mobile from samsung..variety of application through market...not dat gud in camera though..battery performance could ve been beter.... Not sure of mobile displaying android after continous hours of using mobile... If someone is aware of this pls advice... Overall grt mobile... Worth money

The phone is fine. It works great and its not laggy (some apps make it laggy sometimes). The only thing that I don't like is the battery life but its acceptable since its an android phone.
