when charging it will stay 99% for a very long time before you get 100%, it also has a sound confirmation and an orange icon will appear on the upper left hand side indicating 100%.
battery saving tips:
-uncheck "background data" under account & sync settings
-dont use live wallpapers
-disable animation or reduce it to "some"
-uncheck "data roaming" under mobile network settings
-uncheck "enable alsways on mobile data" under mobile network settings
-check "use only 2g" under mobile network settings
-download and install "advanced task killer free" to close all apps running on the background
that should make your battery last for days

Aegd, 04 Sep 2010I can't really see this Galaxy 3 or galaxy 5 competing with... moreback in india wildfire and galaxy 5 are not in the same price range.. so definitely the differences are justified.. for ppl who think the quality is cheap and are ready to pay more will go for wildfire.. and for ppl like me who are satisfied with the quality and specs and also want a budget phone then they buy the galaxy 5

To start off im using my galaxy 5 in writing this post. Anyway samsung i5500 & i5503 is the same the 3 at the end is release for asian countries. I dont think its corby since the name is galaxy right. it has the same appearance with corby thats why some called it corby smartphone. Anyway my galaxy 5 is A ok. Good resposive screen its a bit small though, android works perfectly with the phone's hardware, Good music phone, compare to corby and other samsung phones the galaxy 5 doesnt look cheap.

I can't really see this Galaxy 3 or galaxy 5 competing with HTC Wildfire or X10 mini. In Sweden they all have basically the same price, but the build quality on the samsung phones feels cheap and plastic, and the design isn't very attractive.
Sadly the cheap plastic feel is something that's common with many Samsung phones and it's a shame that the Samsung Wave is such nicely built phone but uses the BADA operating system. I kind of get the feeling that Samsung doesn't want to commit to making great android phones, since Samsung Galaxy S also has the same cheap plastic build, which has sadly made many customers get a HTC desire or a X10i over a Samsung Galaxy S because they disliked the "cheap" feeling of the phone.
It's not that the specs of the phone is bad, but if customers are made to pick two phones with the same specs and similar price, they will get the phone that looks more attractive and has better build quality.
