Hi,
I checked android forums and got the solution. Just uninstall updates of google maps under application/manage applications/google maps and the issue is resolved.
Several users have reported the same problem.

Hi,
When I try to add a 'android widget' in the home screen I get the error message "The application Settings (process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
I am getting this error for the past few days. I tried to restart phone but no help.
However I am able to add 'Samsung widget' 'shortcuts' in the home screen.
Can you help please?

I have this phone. Oh my i love it. The only problem of Galaxy 5 is the flash, the phone dont' have flash. But anyway I LOVE MY CELLPHONE

pls rply to... moreupgrade first your OS to froyo then you can move installed applications from phone to your sd card on
settings--->applications--->manage applications
*not all installed apps are moveable
