All android devices have a dedicated notification bar where u can see any new messages or missed calls or new chats(gmail or facebook)or status of skype like app or bluetooth transfer status or any upload or download status or etc. etc.
Well the thing is u can choose not to get that notification! otherwise the phone ll always keep u notified!
U can be always connected to any social network that is known yet(if u don't bother about the battery's performance!!!).

Even when u are using facebook application, it shows notification for new chat and message and notifications.Overall performance is very good but same problem as with others battery .

I have a samsung galaxy 5 and i have forgotten the drawing pattern to unlock it. Now the only way to unlock it is to use my google account which i don't have. Is there any other way to unlock it??

Battery dies every day without fail, the touchscreen is non-responsive and it has a habit of unlocking itself and phoning people in your address book. Avoid it. Save yourself the hassle.

Hi all,
I recently updated my phone to Froyo DXJP8 which is available in samfirmware.com for my I5503.
I notice that my compass is not pointing the exact north even after calibrating from an open space!
Can anyone tell me how to fix this issue???
Thanks in advance.
PS: I m sure that there is no problem in my hardware because it works fine in Eclair DXJG5 version.

if you update to 2.2 (froyo) you lose compass functionality.
