mjhames, 15 Dec 2010i think my battery is draining too fast compared before it'... morenope, my battery is fine.. even it longer than eclair.
maybe you have to uninstall apps that drain battery fast. for example battery widget or the others.
don't forget to close gps, wifi, bluetooth if u don't need those services.. :)

in froyo, u should setting the apn manually.
ask to your provider for the setting.
oh, just empty the APN type. if u fill that, u will not be able to activate internet server.

Hi Ryo,
thanks a lot i upadte my set to Android 2.2. it's beautiful. thanks again. just one problem i m facing right now is connection to exchange server. it did not connected also it states that "server requires that u allow it to remotly controlsome security featuresof your phone". if i ok it there is a change of security. could u have any idea how should i connect it. in 2.1 it runs smoothly.

but, I prefer samsung galaxy 5 to the others b'coz it can upgrade to froyo and have longer battery (depends on gsm arena review say that it has QVGA)

I am thinking of getting this phone but is it worth it??? Can anybody tell me if this phone is worth the money because I have no clue. The 2mp on the camera is a let down because my other phone has 2mp.

because the swype got crash with the old one.
note: for every phone, after upgrade to froyo, you have to hard reset.
don't forget to backup ur contact and sms, u can use kies for backup.
