I wonder, is it possible to upgrade to 2.1 or 2.0 designed for another phone(i.e. not Samsung)and get better/same performance than/as current 1.5?

Samsung Spica is being Laumched on 3 Ireland network only €249 on prepay....great value!! Free on some pay monthly priceplans

this is bad..i tested the german version of the eclair firmware on this phone and felt there were many firmware glitches and it wasnt ready yet.. now gsmarena is going to review on 2.1..as i have read it on their blog they already feel it is not as good as on 1.5,,,i think they should thoroughly review 1.5 firmware on phone as well..or else this phone is sure to get low rating..

I tried the Asian firmware i570EDDJB2 aswell. Seems as if it does not support 16M at all. The screen is not as crisp as the UK firmware I570EXXJCB. well what surprises me here is the difference in the available internal memory which is 168MB in the Asian firmware and 130MB in the UK firmware. I,m sure this is gonna trouble a lota galaxy freaks.

can only unlock by lock key.new upgradation gives some other option like by screen unlock by tapping
