7500 is geting upgraded to 2.1 also...
now....even more confusion...whtr to shell 2k more..to get 5 mp camera with flash and more internal memory and bigger screen.........spcly..whn..all the Aplications r geting stored on phone memory and not on card....so 200 mb..fr sure will cause constrians...
and if i push for 14k budget....fr this ph...then....lg hs Android model around 14 k....hvng lots of other features......along with FM..wch we dun hv in 5700/7500...
hmmmm....wht do u sugest guys?

I got mine with 2.1 instaled from factory and I can tell you this is awesome despite I never knew the previous version. So far, I am very pleased by all means with this phone.

Deepak D, 10 May 2010What about its sound quality , battery back up and internet... moreSound quality while listening to songs is OK. My Prev phone was Sony Ericsson Walkman series , Spica stands no where near to SE sound quality. Earphones provided in box are made in china.
Battery will last 2-3 days if dont use much. For me it lasted 1 1/2 day since i was using it a lot.
Aprt from , i dont find cell area info on screen and no means to enable it in settings.

Just brought Spica for 12.5 k with 4 GB memory, it has 1.5 Cupcake build. Looking for upgrade to 2.1 in Bangalore anyone has information about Samsung Service Center in Bangalore. When i called up service center, guys looked novice and were not aware of this thing.

Hi all,
I bought this phone yesterday itself in hyderabad,India. It currently have the 1.5 version.
I tried updating it using the New PC Sync studio. And the software keep saying this phone does not support any update.
I want to ask you should I go to the service center and update it or try the odin method? What do you suggest?

1)The Camera doesnt do too well in the dark... moreThanks a lot...u hv no clue hw much i hv read n tried to find about this phone....thts hw i hv managed to come up wid such questns...wch cud b answered by a person...who hv hands on expereince...
so basically....this ph is solely dependent on Android as a USP.......i mst confess...the ph luks cool.....and even though it doesnt hv 5 mp,flash....huge internal memory,FM,multi touch.....bt....all the compromise...resulting into 12k budget seems worth.....i will buy the ph this week fr sure..jst wana confirm abt the price and also abt...packed 2.1 or shal i buy wid 1.6 and upgrade later..........thts d only confusion.....i tried to find....if ny more androids r cuming around this range....wch wil mk me wait fr 1-2 months....bt i dun think ny phone is lined up......apart from expensive ones....so ...i have no other choice then SPica ;)...
any advices....or....shal i become a customer widout thinking again?
