It has no flash then camera would be of no use in low light conditions.

been using this phone for over a week now, enjoying alot..but I think its time to upgrade to froyo, cuz my phone memory is already 40% used, so need to shift applications to SD card..alo I need to root the phone..
has anybody updated to froyo? how do I update it? plz link or if anybody willing to IM me? :) plz mail me at husicat12@gmail.com , I would really appreciate it :)

Did you find solution to your problem. Even I am not... moreI'm assuming that you are unable to use GPRS/EDGE on your handset using Airtel Live profile. Instead of Airtel Live profile, enable 'Mobile Office'. If you are using Airtel Prepaid card then you can access the details at the following URL:
http://www.airtel.in/wps/wcm/connect/airtel.in/airtel.in/home/foryou/mobile/prepaid/services/data+services/
I'm not aware about Airtel Postpaid. Even though you will get an SMS saying your Android handset is not supported but in my case it works fine (I'm having Airtel Prepaid connection @ Hyderabad)

Skype has just released its Android App for all Android phones above 2.1. :) U can make free skype-Skype calls all around the world. Now With this, Galaxy 3's gonna rock. Take an unlimited GPRS plan from your provider and start rocking :)

This phone has Google talk inbuilt but why it does not hav voice call in google talk. Google should have included that too.

and please tell me the exact resolution of 720p. cuz my bro's samsung wave is supposed to capture video in 720p and it shows the max resolution for video capturing as 1280*720. is this resolution called 720p? in laptops 720p refers to 1366*768. please clear my doubt.

720p resolution is meant for high end devices(like wave, galaxy s) cuz they generally have 1 ghz processor. for galaxy 3 try 720*480 resolution. i think it would yield good expirience.
about fryo, i dont think the update is available in india till now. but this device is supposed to be upgraded side by side with galaxy s.

Which format other than 3gp and mp4 is possible? review here says DivX is suported but no 720p. Wat tat means? Also no video calling camera in this phone. so can v not receive any video calls ? And from where can v upgrade to FROYO ?

it looks like to me that lg has a better option comming soon.... p500[ galaxy one ] with better display and android 2.2 in it * it is more possible to get further updates than i5800...
