bought Samsung Galaxy 3 few days back its an awesome phone The touch screen experience is better than other samsung Handsets Has a good camera and it is value for money.. way to go !!!

while setting up wallpaper, y cant i set the whole as the wallpaper?? i always have to edit and the whole picture does nt come as the whole wallpaper, only the selected part comes as the wallpaper. Plz help

Aman, 04 Oct 2010after 3 weeks of good use of my galaxy 3 i5801(yes i5800 is... morewell you can get full screen video for 240-400 and its multiple (multiplied by .5, 1.2, 1.5 and so on) up to may of 720p or horizontal size

fxcamera- comes with many great photo options
tunewiki- nice music player which automatically search for songs lyrics and display it in good syncronisation but sadly works only for english songs
mvideoplayer- a nice music/video, player a must try
album art grabber- search for album art but again only for hollywood

after 3 weeks of good use of my galaxy 3 i5801(yes i5800 is not available in india) i announce this phone a total bang for buck. a bit disappointed that it dont have bluetooth 3, but just for first day. low resolution does hurts occasionally(viewing small text) but the images, icons look pretty good. all other things like msging, music, video, imaging, apps are good. the touch screen is very responsive.
3d gallery of the phone is fabulous. phone operates smoothly. multitouch works very well.
battery life is good(and i do use advance tsk killer), it live for approx 2days after fair use.
the only dissappointment i have is that my bro owns a samsung wave, and it make my phone look like a cheap ripoff. I HATE SAMSUNG WAVE. but atleast i have android and its apps.
also can anyone tell me the resolution of videos so that i can play them on fullscreen, i mean without any visible black boundry???

[deleted post]ya n smtimes even more than 4 hrs. one advise: pls dont ever drain ur battery fully n thn charge ...dats not gud for lithium ion batterys. but u should clliberate once in a month for gud battery health

Dont buy samsung phones, they only update OS 2x then no more, after froyo update ur stuck with it, they also wont release any source code for community developers to continue the upgrade hacking can be done but takes awhile and has many bugs. This already happened to samsung moment n spica they are going to victimize u again on this phone. If you doubt me, look at the comments and online forums on both phones that i just mentioned.

i5801CHN, 03 Oct 2010I also thought 5801 has only 3 homescreens before buying. B... moreThank you clarification...and it is hard time here to find scratch guard for this phone, latter I found that there is option add more home screens..
