i am deeply impressed by the specsheet of this phone and i wish to buy this phone from hyderabad,india
if any of you have bought it, could you please tell me if all the apps work on this phones resolution.. its kind of scaring me because i wanted to buy android so i can tweak n customize everything and it would be dissapointing if all the apps dont work

It can run live wallpapers with its RAM. It's better than the i5500 which has Live wallpapers. Hopefully we'll see live wallpapers in the FroYo update.

sambhav, 12 Aug 2010no live wallpapers!!! why?? i5500 has them!!I think because the RAM is too low for Live Wallpapers to run smoothly :-)

i have nokia 5230. one of the best handset because of the price and full feature phone except wifi. I think the price around i5800 to Nokia 5230 or little higher at least.

Rs. is indian currency right? Freakin cheap for the listed specs!! The best you can get at the price point is nokia 5800, or HTC wildfire but the screen su*ks.
Basing everything on spec sheets and previews,, best bang for the buck phone... especially if the docu editor is present

Is this phone marketed in India under different model number? I'm asking this because the model number listed in various Indian shopping sites is I5801 where as in other countries this is listed as I5800.
