and for your information 610hrs is stand by time ie just switch on the mobile don't run anything on it.
well if you continuously talk den 15hrs on 2g and less if you working on somethings extra.

Download & Install a software called APNdroid from the android market. This software can be used as a on offf switch for GPRS !!!!....

the calls just end b4 I can recieve any of them..
n if i pick up, call gets cut after 5-10 minutes!
Unable to talk on this phone.. :(

than they say: close this program, that program, shut wifi,shut gps,bla bla bla...Why they don't tell the truth...

gaurav, 25 Dec 2010can i use this to run internet on my laptop
by using cab... moreyes you can use internet on pc through it.
1.by cable you first need to install android usb driver and just one click you get net.
2.with Bluetooth or tethering you need most recent kies application.with just few setting in kies you are good to go.
3.wifi don't know never tried.

fouzia, 27 Dec 2010I just compared to spice MI-300.. the main things i liked i... more1.if you want higher speed den go for Nokia x3-02 or c3-01 they have 10.2mbps which are still cheaper.well it never matters for me as service providers in India the max is 3.1mbps.
2.you forgot to mention spice don't have all video support lower,no radio,no doc editor,older android version 1.6,no upgrade.
3.how is its screen better then this are you kidding,its lcd with just 264k colors and that too resistive.

4.bit better gps(not much just a bit)
5.higher volume on speaker out.
answer to your question-well i used both of them wildfire is bit too low on battery back up it won't give more then 16hrs on heavy usage(30 hrs on normal usage with tech of betterment of battery)where as galaxy 3 will give 20-22 hrs of heavy usage(up to max of 2.5days on a proper normal usage)
