SOLUTION FOR CALL DROP!!
The reason why g3 experiences cal drop is becoz
the edge or 3g is always on.....therefor data transfer
takes place inbetween cals
inorder to disable dis download quick settings
app from d market and disable apn mob data...do send in your feedbacks

I am planning to buy this phone tomorrow as a new year gift for me. just wanted to know few thing:
is it upgradeable to 2.2 or 2.3 later.
how good is multitasking on the phone.
how good is the GPS on the phone.
Do it support JAVA applications.

Good Phone, but still lot of things has to be rectified in terms of performance. Battery back up is simply poor. Though it comes with 1500mAh. Also the phone resolution should have atleast 360 x 640 pixels.
The phone's outer body is very week. If it slightly gets off our hand then it would be a close call.
But I know that there will be radical changes in this segment of phones as these models are just beginning of an era.

you can exit internet by clicking the home key and if possible, you can update it with samsung kies.

well i have this phone from about 2 weekend and what i don't really like about it is the battery, witch even if resist 2-3 days in normal use(phones, sms, wi-fi, etc) and i have installed advanced task killer. Ok, i have another problem with the battery. It shows me that it is full 50% and after max 1h it become exhausted and i have to charge it. Hmm the good things are the touch screen witch it's quite fast and the operation sistem. Per total i do like this phone...
