guys is android phone still worth buying without having no way to buy apps.. yes im only 14 n if i bought this phone it will be ny first experience with android.... n one does this galxy 3 support all those java apps like opera mini and stuff

Technolaziness, 01 Nov 2010Advanced Task Killers are NOT GOOD for android phones' BATT... morei don't prefer watchdog as it is not full version(full one is paid one)and it must always be on to check out the application which is bad compared to advanced task killer which does not need background running. watch dog advantage is that it has many other usages such as checking amount of net used and all.

Battery Issue:- Initially everyone will have the problem of battery draining very quickly. Me too had the same problem. Now my battery lasts one-and-half days.
For all those who complain about battery, here is a try. Charge the phone for 100% (may take 3.30hrs). After that charge the phone for 1hr in switch off mode. It worked for me. Also install Advanced Task Killer. As and when u rest the phone, check up with Advanced Task Killer (ATK) and see whether any programmes are running. If so, close all those with the help of ATK

Ensure that Samsung Kies is installed on your PC. You can download the program from the Samsung website (www.samsungmobile.com).
In Idle mode, open the application list and select 1 Settings → About phone → USB settings → Samsung Kies.
Press the Home key to return to Idle mode.2
Using an optional PC data cable, connect the 3 multifunction jack on your device to a PC.
Run Samsung Kies and use wireless connections or 4 copy data and files.
Refer to the Samsung Kies help for more information.
U can also download applications using wi-fi:-
1 Market.
Select 2 Accept when the terms and conditions appears.
Select an item category 3 → an item.
Select 4 Install (for free items) or Buy.
If you select Install, the item will start downloading immediately.
If you select Buy, you need to enter your credit card information. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Anonymous, 03 Nov 2010hey all!!! the phone is good but i'm havin some problems wi... morethis is the problem with galaxy 3, even i have faced this problem, thankfully it was not my phone it was my cousins phone so i dropped the plan of buying this piece of junk. I think its seriously a firmware problem which samsung is not solving it.
