hey all!!! the phone is good but i'm havin some problems wit the battery...its battery charge drops fr0m 60% to just 15% directly if do any call...n then a mesage appears tht the battery is out of charge plz recharge immidiatly...!!!....:(:(:(
i googled it up n found tht many of the others are havin the same problem...!!!donno if its a battery problem o the firmware problem...:(:(

Hi friends..
I recently bought a samsung galaxy 3 GT-I5801(Indian version).
Could anybody suggest how i can download android apps and samsung apps for this mobile?
i have connected using samsung kies.but its not allowing to download and install any of apps(free/paid).
I have tried to samsung widget and android widget from from phone,there only i can see only 2 application from samsung which can be downloaded and installed.
Please suggest me how i can get mor samsung/android apps for this phone.

Hey guys,how is the wifi signal reception on your phone?Actually i have observed that in the same room the wifi signal on my laptop is excellent and on my phone it is fair or sometimes good.Anyone else observed the same?

cause.> lg has 2 phone alrady in this range
1. optimus gt540 price 11149// inr
which is little low in space.
2. lg gw 620 price 14000// inr
which is a little high in space
p500 {one} fits in da middle so ....
+ ndtv Gadget Guru show says it will sell on 13000// inr

and 2.2 android froyo not 2.1 so according to configuration ONE is 2x faster than i5800 and price almost same near about 13,000 inr so go for 1

But sadly i removed the screen cover as soon as i got the phone :-(
And this phone meets all the requirements needed to have froyo. The next installment of android aka gingerbread needs 1ghz proccy not froyo...

Hi!
You can solve the character limit problem by installing Chomp SMS. Its free and is working fine on my cell. It provides many fr8 features too. Try it and you will b enthralled by its practicality and features.
When battery drops down to 30% or 50% just switch off the phone and restart it, you will see that the battery is more than 50%.
Dont remove the supplied screen guard from the phone. Just use an eraser to remove the marks. It will take 2 hours but it is worth the shot as the screen guard is gr8.
Rumor is that froyo needs at least 1 GHz processor, that way galaxy 3 is not eligible for the update. I hope that its not true.

Hey All,
I'm using Galaxy 3 for a month now, earlier i used to get notifications about my call charges as soon as i end a call with the remaining balance and all. But now since a week, i'm not getting any notifications (may be because of some app or i dont know why), and basic USSD codes to check the balance like *111#, *141#. Earlier i thought it was my SIM/ Network problem, but it worked when i used the same SIM in another phone. Somebody told me to turn on cell info display( but i didnt find such thing on android). Still with the problem, any help?
