For all awaiting Froyo Update:=
Samsung Galaxy 3 GT-5801 will not get Froyo update. It is 100% sure. For all those who have emailed to Samsung got reply that Froyoo update for samsung galaxy 3 I5801 will not be available.

navneet, 27 Oct 2010abhay,but my main concern is y mt phone get stuck when anyo... morethat could be the problem of your network. try using a different network and see.

mail ... moreno this phone use android 2.1 and thus does not have flash...
but hopefully after 2.2 upgrade that is possible...

This phones battery performance is very very poor. It takes more than 3.30hrs to get fully charged. The power doesn't last even a day. When it reaches 50%, chances are that it may go down to 5% very shortly. Samsung has released the phone without proper factory testing. Samsung claims it is a powerful battery but what is the use. I have followed all battery calliberation methods while charging but of no use. Fresh buyers be cautious about this problem with the phone. I think samsung will stop production of this model all of sudden. It is better for samsung if they follow stringent factory testings before it reaches stores.

these will cost you around 850 Rs but the cost also depends on your locality...
other great earphones will cost more than 1000 bucks but they are not true value for money earphones cuz in 1250 we can get decent headphones(not earphones) from senhiesser...

Hi, just wondering for galaxy 3, is there an option to sms with numeric pad? if the fone doesn't come with this application, it is downloadable? coz the qwerty pad can be difficult to use on a 3.2inch screen. my hubby has a 3.7inch screen n i oredi make mistakes when sms-ing. im considering the LG Optimus One too n that has a numeric pad but wasn't too happy with my current LG n not sure if i want to give LG another chance. pls reply. thanks!

every galaxy 3 users download mixzing player from th... morethnx mate, but i have good experience with music players in android market... currently i m using cubed...
and to your knowledge software does not affect sound quality to an enjoyable extend but hardware does... So i dont use the stock earplugs cuz they really sucks in comparisions to 'good earplugs'...
