yes i have tried it and i m running froyo...
there are 100's of changes...........
and ppl say that samsung is known to abandon phones without update...
take a look at se xperia.. it has recieved 2.1 after about 8 months,, and god knows about 2.2

hey guyz... finally froyo for this handset hai arrived. and yes i am running FROYO! !!! its just released for europe at the moment soon u all can update it thru KIES. i updated to the Europeon froyo update via odin nd mannually flashd d fone.... FROYO ROCKZ! !! voice search.. faster phone nd almost little changes in everything

wait those who want buy g3 a new galaxy is coming i6801 for budget concious customer which features 800mhz snapdragon cpu, 512mb ram,320x480resolution, 5mp with 1.3mp secondry cam, n best its loaded wit android 3 gingerbread. N its reasonaply cheap approk. Around 15k. Ofcourse its support 3d games n yeah its 3g. Dnt buy g3 as of now its outdated now. U wil be at a loss wait for d coming year as i6801 wil be released in upcoming year.

[deleted post]I did rs 95 recharge on my vodafone and gprs stopped working. The problem was with the settings which was for vodafone live and not for www. contact tata indicom showroom or customer care.

Hear is the solution of the early draining of battery
Just download APNDroid from the market & use the internet when u required.
because 85% battery drain by internet application which are running after closing it so use use internet when u required.. it realty help.
on the other side a Advance task killer application also help to save the battery..

guys download voice search here for this phone as it is not preinstalled.. like the nexus one and others...
1. and now restart the search widget, it has mic now.
2. and in browser also mic button appears...
3. and dload smart keyboard or any other keyboard having mic input. coz the default one doesnt have...
thats it now like nexus one or any other android phone we have voice search... say anything and it gets typed in the search or in the message
NOTE::::
the format is in voicesearch2.1.zip
just copy to the sd card and then rename it to same .apk( only change the extention from .zip to .apk)
with every .zip android app , we have to do this
