hi guys i bought galaxy 3 i5801 b4 a week the problem is i cant chek my mobile balance by ussd code when my my mobile tracker is on .if i deactivate mobile tracker i can use ussd code

jhon, 23 Nov 2010to improve ur bettery backup , charge ur bettery in off modeTechnically speaking, the problem is not in the battery... Itz backup is damn good... But the real culprit is Firmware... i think samsung should solve the firmware issues....

Sathis, 22 Nov 2010I got this phone 4th Nov. in Tata Chrome, Bangalore. I hard... moredon't get urge phone repaired. replace it. my dads wave display acted up on the first day itself. took it to the dealer they called samsung. I was told to charge the phone before using. I told them if the display didn't work after that I want a replacement. the phone returned to Normal after charge and reboot. sony would have replaced the phone then and there itself. song has the best service for phones. u should cite sony's example to the dealer where u bought the set. never repair if the phone failed within a week

I got this phone 4th Nov. in Tata Chrome, Bangalore. I hardly used this phone. I just used two days and it started giving trouble. When getting call, I could not hear any one and vice versa. I went to Tata Chrome and they could not do anything. They wanted to check with Service Center. Then I went all the way from Hebbal to BTM layout (around 25 KMs). The lady told it would take one day to get it serviced. No one had called me and I called them again. She told "MOTHERBOARD GONE" and need to get it from New Delhi. I am still waiting for them call as their support numbers (080-41311176) are not working at all.
Finally, I sent a mail through only customer support. I got a call in another hour from Chennai. He told the same Bangalore numbers to check for the status. Since, I asked for manager number to call, this guy gave a number 9791407725 (Thiyagarajan) and he said he is the manager.
When I called to that number, I got a great shock nothing other than that. There was ruthless behaviour from the one, who picked up the call. Probably Thyagarajan.
Is this the way you have trained your managers and customer care executives to treat the customers?

The customer support guy told me that manager name is MR. Thiyagarajan and he would be picking up the call, if we call to 9791407725. Please find below the conversation I was humiliated.
Me: Can I speak to Mr. Thiyagarajan?
Otherside (9791407725): No, this is TamilNadu sir, (told in Tamil)
Me: Is it Samsung support center ? (As I know Tamil, I asked in Tamil only)
Otherside (9791407725): No Sir
Me: Is it Mr. Thiyarajan?
Otherside: No, Sir. This is Muniraj
Me: (As I would have missed the name when the customer support guy told) Are you Manager of Customer support?
Otherside: No sir, I AM COOLIE
This is the way I was humiliated by the customer care people.
I searched in google to find out whether the number is used by any of the support manager. Yes, I could see the number when searching for Samsung support. I am really shocked.
It is better not to buy, otherwise, you would be struggling a lot.

everybody use battery improve 2...
in order to improve battery and it also functions as task killer and not just any its great...
it frees with one click upto 150 mb ram........
not like advanced task killer whose frre ram gets decreased with successive clicks.....
its a great 2 in 1 app and its free......

guys download voice search here for this phone as it is not preinstalled.. like the nexus one and others...
1. and now restart the search widget, it has mic now.
2. and in browser also mic button appears...
3. and dload smart keyboard or any other keyboard having mic input. coz the default one doesnt have...
thats it now like nexus one or any other android phone we have voice search... say anything and it gets typed in the search or in the message

But I can surf websites perfectly (not https though)
M using wap data services
Do I need 2 go 4 gprs plan nd scrap wap?
btw I used all such apps on nokia b4 with wap

In GSM arena have mixed the poster between galaxy 3 and galaxy apollo.
I have a probelm with my galaxy 3 when i connect to the market it ask me for the account login, if i login with my gmail account, after few mintues it display " cannot able to make a reliable connection connect with WIFI",
Dude Can any one know the solution,

As per GSMARENA it says Samsung Galaxy 3 is "3G HSDPA, 3.6 Mbps" However when i check the specifications in the manual it says WCDMA 384kbps.. I am confused. Is it different in India??
