1)go messaging or sms window
2)press menu button settings
3)text message limit enter the NO: u like don't exd thin 250

bt thrzz 1 prob m facing tht if m sending a text msg larger thn 160 char.. it is automatically cnvrtng it into multimedia msg.. n coz of tht m loosing up bal...
i clld samsung ppl thy say its a func in android by default... is it so..??? cnt it be chnged..???

yesthsi is best phone in thsi price .. even se vivaz is worst than this , only better camera...
os sucks , and above all poor resistive touch....
very bad............
samsung is great......
its emerging..
i now startd liking sammy from the point they introduced phones like wave , galaxy s , galaxy 3 , galaxy 5..... etc.....
they bought smartphone in less than 10k inr..great

deepak, 20 Oct 2010there are two prob in this phone that i have an issue..one ... moreHi deepak battery prob can be fixed
1) you should charge the battery full in switch off
mode and discharge it to 0% and charge it full " you
should do this for first 4 days" it called as
" battery calibration " u can Google it to know more.
2)download app called juice defender from android market
try it for free it will works good..
3)use advanced task killer app you should kill
unused apps evry 1hr or 2hr bcoz smart phones have
multi-tasking furniture if u r phone runs so many app
at background u r phone will eats lot of battery
and do one more thing search how to use smart phone in Google.....
u can buy this phone this a good phone i am using
from 1 month if like to spend more money go to
samsung galaxy s it cost u 27,000 but this is a best phone

many spammers here like anonymous etc.. saying used thsi more than 6 months when its been out in july lol...............
and in india its available in the last months only.....

If anyone thinks that he would have gat a better phone at this price then he is really an idiot. How can anyone compare it with samsung galaxy S or nexus which are far costlier than it.

there are two prob in this phone that i have an issue..one is poor battery and other poor visiblity in sunlight..some people in the post is saying that it has less ram slow processor bla bla..i wanna ask dem that if they knw any other phone in range of 12000 better than this plz let me knw.
if battery prob can be fixed it will be gr8

know how to use smart phone "plz google it to know
more abt smart phone" usage gps is working good cpu
dose mater and ram also but after geting 2.2 update
it will works awesome you will have lot of FIX in 2.2

yes i completly agree wit ano.... If tis phone have 512mb ram and larger resolution atleast 320x480 and a fast gps tis phone would have deserved 12000. Dnt buy same here. I feel like cheated by samsuck

i5801 sucks i was very happy wen i bought tis phone bt later after using more than six months i have com 2 knw tat its 256mb ram and small resulotion sucks. Good games cant be played coz low ram n resolution it dnt matter having 667Mhz cpu. Android 2.2 cant be upgraded coz less ram even if u install 2.2somehow tis phone seriously become slow. What u do android 2.2 witout apps. N forget upgrading to android 3.0,3.5. Total waste of hard earned money. Dnt buy tis phone.
