Hey guys
Please let me know your firmware and baseband version.You will find it in settings->about phone.
After searching a lot i have found out that the issue many people are facing is because of their firmware version.So please guys let me know your baseband version(even those who don't have any issue with the battery) so that we can see whether it is a software issue or not.

@san....dude u really need to have a check of ur phone again...its Android dude...symbian is no where in even comparison...android Eclair & froyo Os are compared to iOS & mimo...symbian still needs to open thier eyes

Can we put different lock screens like on other androids on i5801? (eg like in galaxy 5, to unlock the screen we have to pull the lock button from the left)
or we just have to slide the glass to unlock the screen?? Can we change it?

San, 05 Oct 2010Hi.... just on 2nd oct i purchased this mobile in univercel... morei think 1st u must know how to use it properly..
its da best os and it should b compared with its same quality like iphone os or mimo os not ant other 1960 [s60]os wich hangs every 2nd time. i called them worlds slowest os. 1 advice "know it before u comment on it"

been using this phone for over a week now, enjoying alot..but I think its time to upgrade to froyo, cuz my phone memory is already 40% used, so need to shift applications to SD card..alo I need to root the phone..
has anybody updated to froyo? how do I update it? plz link or if anybody willing to IM me? :) plz mail me at husicat12@gmail.com , I would really appreciate it :)

Hi.... just on 2nd oct i purchased this mobile in univercell karnataka.. i paid 12200 which includes theft insurance + free bag.... first of all i was very eager to buy the phone because its android.. bit i was very much disappointed because of the os which is very very worst compared to symbian on nokia... i purchased for myself but planning to give it to my brother.. sound also not so impressive.. forgot to tell those who want to root pls use manual method.. i used automatic method which ended in taking the mobile to service center..

Has anyone found out the solution for the battery dropping from 50% to directly 5% or 15% after calling??
If yes please let me know what should i do?Also is everyone experiencing the same problem or only a few people?

vivek, 04 Oct 2010Ya, it takes much time to charge. Mine will take around 3 t... moreYup,i bought mine on 3rd oct. Its taking about 3.5 hrs for a full charge. Even the life is not very impressive. Had to charge twice in 2 days :(

Mine takes about more than 4 hours..Is it the same with others?
