so far its a very good handset. Samsung has done well to built a good enough phone for budget concious people. Pros r lot. Bt certainly tis phone lacks serious specs. A low 240x400 resolution means browsing a nightmare, watching movies is quite ok.. Application compatibility issue in tis resolution. A 320x480 resolution is very good to do all ur stuff. Secondly it has only 256mb of ram means running only a handful of app. Dnt have enough power to run demandming games coz of low reso n ram. Nt upgradeble to latest android os. Yes it will make up to android 2.2 bt wat abt android 3.0 and 3.3. Android 3 gonna launch in oct and 3.3 next year. Atleast a 384/512 ram should b considered.

Ive had this phone for 2 weeks now. During the first day it had problems, refusing to hang up when checking voicemail, intermittently crashing when someone else's voice mail cuts in. I was told by orange that a sim update would cure it and sure enough one was texted through in around an hour. But now, it'd doing the same again. Unless the other person hangs up, the phone stays connected. It can not be cut off by using the power-off button, you have to remove the battery. I dont think the firmware is quite tested properly on this yet, Im sending it back.

The sim card contact point is very delicate. Maybe that's done on purpose to factor in the (cheap) cost.

It has a 5MP camera with LED flash which lacks in i5801... Wildfire has got 384MB RAM when compared to i5801's 256 MB RAM... Since My budget was 12K i went for i5801 and definitely its worth every penny... Comparing Sony Aspen, Go for it only if you like sony and if u really need a qwerty keypad... Otherwise i5801 is better than Aspen...
