I want to purchase the samsung i600, but i don't know if i must, because after hearing all the bad comment... I'm confused...must I buy the phone or reconcider a other phone...plz help me...i'm confused...

I am pleased to say that Samsung has now provided free upgrade of Windows Mobile from 5 to 6. I have just attended its local service centre to enjoy this free service by its polite and helpful service offciers.

Just got i600 3 days ago - all functions are great except when i set an mp3 as sms tone in my documents, it still continues to play after reading my sms . . . can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Hi, does anyone know if there will be a Windows Mobile 6 update in Australia? I am in Australia & planning to buy this phone.. As the i780 has replaced this modle but I don't like it, because it has a touch-screen (which is a lot less longer lasting than a normal screen) & gets dirty, plus has inbuilt GPS which i already own.. thanks:)

my i600 facing a big problem
the storage memory keep on increase. even i close up all the running program, it still remain the same usage.. i store all the data in memory card, never store in phone. but it keep on increase everyday.. i remember 2 months back it suddendly full memory so i have to make hard reset on it..
it seems like a lot of temporary file that remain in the memory.

WM6 upgrade will be available for Asia set soon, as for Singapore the upgrade is available starting 13 Oct 07 !!
I am ok for my modded Asian -> European set right now in Malaysia :-)

I am disappointed that there is no upgrade
of Windows Mobile (from version 5 to 6 as promised) for Singapore users to-date. Samsung appears to be indifferent to customers' feedbacks. I telephoned its local support and left messages (as requested) several times but so far I have not been contacted. I will not buy any Samsung phone from now on.

does data take preference over WLan or the Network operator (eg can I have WLan enabled and connect to my mail, but still be connected to the cellular network for incoming calls and messages?) Tytn seems to route mail traffic via GSM network unless GSM is tunred off:(

i've read a comment on sept,16 2007 ;bout mp3 file can be set for sms tone?
is that true? how? cause ive tried, it doesn't work. mp3 only can set for ring tone..

evryone..when i played movie files on WM.. i cant enjoyed.. bcause the file interupted/skip. i mean... the sound was normal, but the picture more slower than output sound...
please help me... what i must to do.. for have a superb performance in my Windows Media(WM)...

Great phone. However I am on my second i600. The Wireless Manager keeps hanging when I put the Phone feature off when I am in my car. Samsung are impossible to contact and have not responded. BOTH phones are doing it, so I assume its a fault in the Wirelss manager

I have bluetooth headset H200, it was working when I was using my i600 with wm5, after upgrading to wm6 something happened, I find this headset, it recognise, beam is turned on, visibility also and it shows that they connected, but when I call, the headset disappear's. When call is in progress I try to turn on headphone it doesnt work, but when I try speakerphone it works. Maybe you know what can it be? Some problems with bluetooth drivers?

This is a very good phone. Pro: Light weight, excellent form factor. Speedial make it easy to call up programs. Con: Battery needs to be recharge everyday. My version is i600BUGB1, from spanish vodafone. Where I can upgrade to WM6. THx.

tks ahmed but i tried that..i got no program open,frm the day i got this phone it only sms and call that i did plus a few browsing..checked the temp file but still coud not find any thing..i delete all sms in inbox&deleted item
