Can any1 tell me how long it takes 2 dowload a full length movie, how is the battery life of the phone, does any1 have software problemz with there phones etc.

You need to check how many programs are running and if you suspect any of them is consuming much memory, close it.
press and hold the home key (on top left of the answer key) to open the task manager.. now, check the running programs and stop the ones you suspect consuming memory and then refresh and see your memory usage.

i bought the Samsung i600 yesterday as well. Am from Singapore and bought through Starhub. Anyway my phone came with WM6, the firmware version is i600UDXGH4. Seems like most versions on the net are xxGG4 for those with WM6.
I am wondering why mine does not have the Card Wheel Interface. ANyone has any clues?

Can anyone say for certain whether there will be an official update to WM6 for the i600. I have one on order, but do not want to take it unless someone can say with 100% certainty that there will be one. I live in South Africa. So I reckon it will have the UK English ROM.

Samsung i600 WORKS WELL :calling, messaging excellent quality with skype for smartphones. After upgraded from windows mobile 5 to wm 6. If you have prolems with updating from wm5 to wm6 or your skype desn't work, freezes or doesn't sart. Write to jaro@jocompany.com will help!

The designs similar and has an optical mouse pad and best of all it has touch screen and built in GPS! It will be running on WM6 Professional. The Dimensions are said to be 115.9 x 61.3 x 13.3 mm!
The only let down might be the processor which is said to be running at 2100 MHz, but it doesn't say which processor!
The dimensions put me off a bit! It's slightly wider and thicker than the i600! But the qwerty keyboard buttons look a little bit larger than the i600's which might be a good thing.
The i600's dimension is just perfect for me!

This phone is the biggest piece of rubbish I have ever purchased. None of my email or mms work. It's so slow and takes ages to view a picture. Why I ever changed from Nokia to this piece of rubbish I don;t know.
I'm taking my sim card out and putting it back into my faithful N80. SAMSUNG YOU SUCK !!!

Yes it is possible after considerable monkeying around. Mine was bought in Singapore. I first had to flash the ROM then install active synch 4.5 and then install windows 6.

I am confused between buying an HTC product an O2 or a samsung windows based device . I had tried the O2 mini when it had launched about 2 years ago , apparantly they were really costly then . My O2 used to hang a lot and after 2 months i had to sell it off due to problems like hanging ets .
My question for now is which is a good windows based phone , i mean what brand should I go in for HTC,IMATE,O2 or SAMSUNG.

are you realy as dumb? to set an mp3 as a ringtone you have to put the song on the phone memory, you cant set is as a ringtone when the song is on memory card! clear?!

You have to save the mp3s directly in My documents. Then you may set as Ringtone and SMS tone.
:) this is a great phone.
