Netsurd, I use both ones. both have pro and cons.Prefer the samsung above the nokia, the main reason..... the size and Windows operating system

This is a cool phone, just one problem though,why is the new appointments not showing on the screen as with the other PDA's where you can just scroll to the column and excess the appointment without going into the actual settings.

I am just wondering. Can cellphone cases with magnetic buttons affect the performance of my i600? I heard before that magnets can damage mobile phones? Is this true? I bought an expensive casing for my i600 smart phone that uses magnetic snap buttons?

Maybe for SUN Network users you have to adjust the seetings of the i600 hundred to the capacity of the SUN network. Try to adjust your i600 to its 2G settings. I think by default the i600 is already set to accomodate 3G settings. SUN Network is way behind 3G technology. Maybe that is why?

is that true? i cannot use my SUN cell line on i600?
i asked the help line.. the phone must be SGH-i600 here in the Philippines not SCH-i600.. its different.. thats why..

The i600 is a cool phone. It however is not upgradable to Windows Mobile 6 and it has been stripped down from its international released i600. Eg. Voice command. It also has a niche of hanging-up on receipt of another call and you cannot look-up a number whiles a person is holding. Its international release can be bought for $99.00 as appose to R3’700.00 here in South Africa. I am pretty pissed-off at Samsung for its blunt poor service and support. I am selling my i600.

I had my phone for a month and one day my buttons froze. I can still receive calls/sms's but i can't answer. Took it to samsung was fixed but did the same thing the day i collected it.had to take it back.what could cause it.

kabir, I use Fring since 3 months daily on this phone without any problem. maybe install it again. Do not see any reason why it should not work. Skype is not working as the processor is too slow for it

hi. The samsung website states that the phone is compatible with skype however the skype official forums clearly state that skype would not funtion on the phone. Is there anyway i can configure skype on it? i also tried fring but apart from the s/w hanging the phone it did nothing. Is there any other VOIP s/w which i could use. Help!

Hi. i am trying to use my i600 as a modem by connecting it to my PC with the USB cable. does anyone know if this is possible? "Settings - Connections - USB" doesn't seem to give you the option. please help!

this phone cannot send/recieve txt messages and
cannot make/receive calls using SUN CELLULAR NETWORK in the philippines....beware!
...im still trying to figure out why...

Great phone! yes the WM6 update has been removed from the Samsung Promo site. I phoned them and apparently it will be released but they are uncertain of a date...

Hi, I just got the Samsung i600 2days ago, I've been trying to upgrade it to windows mobile 5, unfortunately I can't seem to do so. I have tried to type the version number on the website , it keeps asking me to type again and again thats about it. Does any have know how I can download and install wwm6. Thanks guys!
