Not sure if anyone made the discovery after buying their new Samsung i600 and realizing that Pocket MSN isn't there. I found this great solution if you already haven't. If you get a chance, check out Fring, great software that allows you to run Skype, MSN, GTalk and others in one simple app. Works great!!
Make sure the accounts you register aren't logged on from your computer, or it won't subscribe it thru Fring. It's also best to make a Test call, which can easily be done since there is a default test user in the app.

Just received this phone and let me tell you, it's amazing. Paid 350$ Canadian... got the latest version with the firmware update, so I didn't have to do it myself. Been 5 days and has yet to crash on me.
There have been dust issue creeping under the lcd, but with the latest version, this problem doesn't seem to be there any longer. No Java pre-installed, but you can install it with 3rd party, and it works wonders. Haven't had a chance to install Skype yet, but will soon.
Bar none, great phone, sleek design, nice rubber enclosure, super thin, and Qwerty keyboard works great. The only flaw I see is that you can't use Bluetooth and Wifi at the same time, because it just doesn't want to work.

dear all, from the moment the update for ur country becomes available update ur phone to WM6. I did 2 weeks ago and it works without any problem. No worry, just update, all goes fine

Don't buy from e-buy-global.com !
It's strange that they got mobile phones 70% cheaper, e.g. 8600 Luna - $150. It's that odd, that it doesn't even cover production expenses...
So, my advice: don't even write to them. They aren't really from Italy! Their host is somewhere in Israel! It might aswell be some kid playing around behind his PC, and getting his money off our backs.
When I asked for their company's registration number, business rate, or something like that, the director replied to me they haven't got it for anybody. 'Cause that's something that has to be made public, so anyone may verify it.

I installed FRING and tried it with MSN and GoogleTalk and it worked just fine!
when i try to register my Skype account, it just keeps saying Registering and nothing more!! it never gets to finish the registeration.
does anyone have any idea about that?!

I have the same problem, with the wm5 I can cannect but with wm6 it will not connect.

ya same here..im a singaporean n this upgrade to wm6 not out yet in asia..
my version is i600dxge1...also cant get the upgrade..now samsung will concentrate the upgrade in europe first den in asia in future..advise to asian i600 user..if ur hp can be upgraded wif the euro wm6..pls do not try coz i've ask samsung singapore..they say if i manage to upgrade most pro our asia warranty will be void so pls b patient n wait for the asia version..

i tried to upgrade my awesome i600 with the swiss version. but it doesn't work, cuz i have the wrong phone version (i600XXGC6). any1 the same problem?

I bought i600 3 days ago. Its a good phone, easy in use, nice in stylish, strong in battery and radios. But it doesn't vibrate when receiving a new message, so i may not read msg immediately if outside is noisy.

no, i'm in Dubai - United Arab Emirates.. and i bought it for 1660 AED (without warranty and no memory card).. with warranty and a 512MB memory card, it's 1899 AED
