solving your dilemma I can´t. just tell you the mobile is really great. update it to WM6 and install documents to go on it and you will have a mobile you don´t want to change anymore believe me

omg!! dilemma now.... Just minutes after i decide not to take n9300i due to the specs abit old compare to what is available nowe on the market i saw this i600 review.. the home screen is just a killer but why 220mhz processor.. now juz in dilemma need to struggle heart within to go or i600 or E61i, sorry SE ur p990 just make me not convinced with the new P1

the worst mobile ,it gets stuck,after one month of usage .I should have brought some other product like nokia or sony ericsson

I also use the Nokia 61i and the samsung i600. Do not at all agree on previous opinion. To me the samsung is much better as the Nokia.

This is the worst phone... It looks good but. I have a Nokia e61i and it simply kills the samsung.
Samsung features are so complicated its incredible.

Has anyone tried installing the Pocket DIVX Player 0.8 on this phone? Would like to know if it works or not.

I live in the US, and have upgraded to wm6. i used the link from Finland and it works great. i like the new features, feel just like a windows pc. I dont really think it matters much where u live or which location you chose to use. Also since i installed the new software my talk timers got wiped out, so i can now sell it as new(ish).

To Arno, no big difference between both.most important modif are in e-mail.upgrade is not really needed but as it is free.....

i've tried the upgrade...but when they ask for my version num:i cant do the upgrade..coz i've send mine for upgrade n my version now is i600dxge1 n i cant get the upgrade..
instead of i600xxge1...ive tried it with the i600xxge1 can dl the software but when wanting to upgrade..it prompted wrong version..
anybody can help?

upgraded my i600 to WM6 today, all seems fine and works OK. you will need about 15 min. to update your samsung. success

Im in South Africa, which country should I choose for the WM6 upgrade, UK?? I know I have to wait for all the countries te become available but I see there is no South Africa option in the greyed out icons as well thats why im asking??

Samsung is upgrading the i600 handsets to run windows mobile 6.

this is the site from where you can upgrade your i600 to Windows Mobile 6. Only 6 countries have been activated, the rest will follow. DO NOT upgrade if you have a Blackjack 607 without WiFi. This is only for the i600.

Today, Samsung told me by e-mail, indeed they will provide an update to WM6 for the i600.The update will be available on the samsung website. there was no time slot announced in the mail.
