yesterday ibought i600 after then ifound some problems in wifi and blue tooth.i think it is the worest pocket pc in world

if you have cellphone vendors there that offers installation of anti-virus, asked them if they could download it to your mobile. here in the philippines we have tons of vendors that offers that service. its not necessarily must come from a samsung service center just be sure that they offer quality service.
just to let you know virus in cellphones are now rampant nowadays. if a virus gets to your phone then its doomed to shut off. the best that we can do is to install anti-virus to a symbian phone or windows mobile phone. AND be careful in transferring files via bluetooth. sometimes it has virus. and also be carefull transferring files from a computer to your cellphone. first you must scan the file for viruses in order for you to be sure its clean. :)

this smartphone has java MIDP 2.0,or doesn't? my phone branded in Orange but I don't find extension .jad and .jar to him.Why???

Ahmed, Fring works very good on it, Nokia N80 is far behind this juwel. I use it for 4 months. great mobile

well, no one is perfect in the world. i think you should give this handset a chance. after all some phones do have defects and you are the lucky one. take it back to a service center and asked them if they could replace the handset, if not possible have it repaired and if the same problem happen then you now have the right to throw it to garbage. i think the problem would be in the software, have it reformatted and have an anti-virus since windows mobile phones are more prone to virus.

i would like to know windows mobile 5.0 is it compatible to pc wondows ? i wuld like to use I600 instide of pc in using data show ( proctor ) .

hey all i600 users..
i've just send mine for service..
yesterday as i wanted to sms..it doesn;t respond..so wat i do,i on n off the hp..
n u noe wat happen..?
the phone turn on but my home pic is gone..
n the worst..
my menu is gone..
means when i go START it suppose to go to our program icon..but for mine..all the program r gone..!!so fustrating..
i cant sms n cant use the camera..
not cool for a cool phone like this..
this problem makes mi want to abandon this phone?

does any1 know why this phone will not be able to play .ogg files? it says in the specs(posted here) that it can..and it should!!!

to hotdude, there is no other way, has nothing to do with your phone, that is windows, you need to stop the running programs by hand. not that problem once u used on it

Help Pls? Help Me Pls? I am very obsessive compulsive with the memory of my I600. I understand that it does multi-tasking. So when I leave a certain program and open a new program, the former program is still left running. Is there another way of immeaditely stopping the program I've just used. I alsways have to go to the TASK MANAGER and press STOP ALL just to shut down all the programs I've used. It's starting to get exhausting. Please Help!

Got the phone, very impressed!! One question though... how do I load Opera Mini on it? GSMArena States it has Java, but does not download the applicaiton....
