The phone is compatible with java midp 2.0 but if I try tu run a java jar or jad file it doesn't recognize the file. If they said it suport midp 2.0 that means they should install a java enviroment on the phone?

to shane; ur phone is switching to HSDPA for downloading, that makes the phone heat up and the battery drains fast. it should not happen if u do not enter the internet or read mails. To what I found out, once the mail is downloaded the system swith off HSDPA and goes on normal 3G, on that moment also the heating is stopping

                    To Shane

That is definitely your batteries fault... maybe it is shorting somewhat, maybe get a new battery or have the connection terminal to the phone checked.

Im on my second i600 and the both times the memory keeps filling up after a sync - rendering the phone unable to send/recieve any sms email and I cant even use the camera!!!!! suffice to say I havent one document in my phone yet still supposed memory full!!!!!

Im impressed with what the phone claims it can do - not what it actually does!!!!

                                can anybody help???

                                    to all i600 users,

i recently found out abt a problem..is that this phone sometimes would suddenly become very hot even when i closed all programs n let it rest..worst still i juz leave it..n without running any programs..within 1 hour it remained hot n suck my batt life from 3 bars to 0 bar..
it doesn't happen everytime juz sometimes when the phone gets hot..
n now i noe..i not only close all programs when it gets hot,i off the phone..when it finally cool down den on back again so it doesn't suck the life of my batt..if u dun off the phone it will still remain hot..
                                    anybody faces the same problem??

the reason i intend to buy this phone is that it is the only business-class phone available in the market that supports 3.5G (HSDPA), WiFi & doesn't cost a small fortune, this phone costs almost half the price of any other HSDPA phone on this website (prices in the UAE where i work), & as for the battery life, all phones crammed with features eat up batteries, if u fully use the features u will have to recharge daily, & if u plan to use 3G or GPRS for a long time on one go u have to plug an AC cord into the phone. I just wish they DIDN'T put a camera in it! would've made it cheaper & use less power, & I won't use it anyway, i use a dedicated camera when i want one.

Horrible battery life! Required 2 fully charged batteries provided to go through a full day. Returned it after 4 days.
