        Anonymous, 06 Jul 20098gb is not the only advantage. The screen is far more brigh... moreso wat? i prefer the multitouch, more ram, more homescreens with more widgets...
        wats so gr8 about vanilla android and hving a google logo? led flash only makes the slightest difference for taking pictures. its only really noticeable wen its very dark, and u r close to the object u r taking the picture of. under such conditions u still wont be able to properly make out what u took the picture of so its useless.

            looks really nice phone 02 english date avaiable st week aug meant to be. just wondering if it has some kind of map thing on it google map or mini sat nav?

                Having spoke to O2 customer services in the UK they have confirmed that they will be selling the handset and have an arrival date of the 26th July. They cant confirm that it will be available on that date but this is the first specific date for arriving in the UK that has been released.

                    The Samsung Galaxy won't have 128mb RAM.
                    Samsung Italy (Official) said on facebook that it will have 192mb for applications.

                    So can GSMARENA change it from 128mb (which was a rumor...) to 192 please!

                      Anonymous, 05 Jul 2009i wud rather get htc hero. i mean the only advantages this ... more8gb is not the only advantage. The screen is far more bright while consuming less watt. Samsung has a dsp 256mhz, have u seen how fast it switch between portrait landacape?
                      I7500 is also vanilla android, it has the google logo on the phone. The kamera also have LED flash

                        i wud rather get htc hero. i mean the only advantages this has is 8gb internal (but both hv microsd expansion, so this isnt really important) and more colorful screen (altho i dont know how many colors android supports so it might be wasted, like putting more than 65k colors on winmo). whereas htc hv put in multitouch, a trackball which is better than a d pad, and more ram. also personally i think the design is better than samsung's which looks a lot like most of their other phones.

                                Is it possible to personalise/customise the display with you rown wallpaper? And is it possible to remove the shortcut icons for calendar, contacts, browser, etc, so you just have a screen showing a picture and nothing more? Thanks

                                      i just found out that you can't even use the 3g here in canada for this phone. what a bummer.

                                      it seems there's too many different 3g networks for different carriers. i notice there's also a 1700 bandwidth for the new carrier coming soon here in canada. and its not as common. i'll pass.
