i just found out that you can't even use the 3g here in canada for this phone. what a bummer.
it seems there's too many different 3g networks for different carriers. i notice there's also a 1700 bandwidth for the new carrier coming soon here in canada. and its not as common. i'll pass.

They should have developed touch whiz for android, just like they do on their WIN MO products.

Too bad it has all that buttons(menu, back, four direction key, ok) for a touchphone with a decent 3.2 inch display and a fluid OS. Maybe in the future starting with a evolution from android, the phones which will run on this platform have a more stylish, clean design without so many buttons.

samsung and android is a killer combination! but I guess htc and samsung - at the hardware end and windows mobile and android - software are playing and cat and mouse game. htc seems to have the edge to android, but i personally think samsung is a better fit.

have you guys seen the new htc hero?
those new features like multi-touch, digital compass, etc. is it because of software or the hardware is better?
and also anyone actually tried this phone? i'm guessing the capacitative touch screen is the big plus here. but it really depends on the real feel/responsiveness.
any good reviews or handson video of this?
i know samsung updating the software sucks, hence using android would be a good direction.
samsung > just focus on hardware development would be ok.
