Based on your experience, what is the disadvantage of i780..? i need phone with great office feature that can support my daily work activities, thats all..i dont care about multimedia, camera, whatever..some recent posts ive read, battery wasnt that good..is that true?

I wouldn't say E63 is such a bad phone at all, but then you may find really uncomfortable to read or type you emails or documents with that 2.5" screen. Having used the Nokia E61i for more than a year for all my business purposes I found that fone to be charm to do the work. I was hoping that Nokia could go ahead and increase the processors speed but it seemed like they stuck with E90's processor 369MHz which isn't that bad but for the price you can get better phones today in the market.

You better download MagikB by mobiion. It will make the hardware qwerty far easier and faster to type. I'm not exaggerating. it will really make typing in i780 super fast, easy and addictive. And also the forward slash will be easier to type. just long press slash then the second button at the bottom.

Until todays ago I had my Nokia e61i which I sold and purchased the i780 and I must say it feels much lighter than the e61i, I guess because of the plastic body. The Optical mouse is fantastic and I really like and find it very easy to move around without making use of the stylus. The worst part of the phone is the battery life it hardly last for a day. After having used the Nokia e61i for more than a year now I already miss the e61i. Another let down in the Samsung i780 is that there's no button for the forward slash which makes it really irritating as one has to find the forward slash only by opting for the online keybord by taping the screen.
I guess having a secondary battery for a i780 doesn't help that much. Cuz the batter drains out very quickly.
I would really appreciate if somebody can help me on how I can have the battery power last for more than a day without to having to put it on standby mode!!

Or just use Coreplayer and it can play anything without conversion. For optimal conversion I advise you to crop it to 320x320. you will loose some width but trust me it's a lot better than watching a small video with black borders.

I have installed spb mobile shell v3.0 and it runs like a dream. It has turned my basic windows mobile phone into a super smartphone. It does not over write windows nor does it run as a app. It actualy works with windows and makes the whole touch interface finger friendly. I've had my i780 for about 5 months now and would recomend mobile shell to all users.(works on the omnia too)
